Timeless Finale Will Air in December
Timeless' two-part finale will air later this year in December.
The Timeless Writers Twitter account revealed the news, however an exact premiere date was not confirmed. John Showalter, who has directed several episodes of the show including "The Capture of Benedict Arnold" and "Hollywoodland," will helm the finale.
Lauren Greer, the co-writer of "The Day Reagan Was Shot," will pen the first hour of the finale. Arika Lisanne, who wrote "Stranded" and "The Red Scare", will write the second hour.
NBC canceled Timeless for a second time earlier this year before ordering a special two-part finale to wrap up the story.
Why Lois Lane’s Arrowverse Debut Matters
This year's Arrowverse crossover keeps sounding better and better. Not only will this three-part event mark the debut of Ruby Rose's Batwoman, we now know that Superman and Lois Lane will be joining the fun. At this point, we're only a couple heroes short of a full-fledged Justice League team-up on The CW. But in some ways, it's Lois' Arrowverse debut that's actually the most intriguing announcement. It suggests a larger change in DC's approach to how its characters are handled on television.
For all of DC's many successes on the small screen over the past several decades, one annoying problem has cropped up again and again. DC has shown a strange reluctance to allow multiple incarnations of a character to exist simultaneously. For example, Smallville explored practically every corner of the DCU, but A-Listers like Batman, Barry Allen and Wonder Woman were never allowed to appear on the show because those characters were tied up with other film and TV projects.

Timesplitters Creator Thinks It Will Be ‘Hard to Surprise’ Gamers with Series Revival
With Timesplitters seemingly poised for a rebirth, series creator David Doak has spoken about his first-person shooter franchise's presumed comeback.
In an interview with Videogamer, Doak spoke of the problem the much-loved franchise would have upon returning: "The easy thing for people to say
is, 'Oh yeah it's not as good...' It’s really hard to surprise somebody with that," he said.
That's not to say he's not in favour, however. "When I saw
, he explains in a separate article, "I was really pleased because I just didn’t like the idea of there never being anything done with it."

Could These Deleted Scenes Explain Leia’s Story in Episode 9?
The news that the late Carrie Fisher will appear in Star Wars: Episode IX via unused footage from The Force Awakens was an absolute stunner for fans. We knew that CGI would not play a role in bringing the princess-turned-general back to the Star Wars saga, and we also knew she would not be recast. Either approach would have most likely felt disingenuous and taken us out of the story. Mark Hamill even went on record as saying he was not a fan of having someone else play the iconic character.
But really, how can you have the end of the Skywalker saga without Leia Organa? So this news is something of a relief for so many fans who want one last chance to watch Carrie Fisher on the silver screen. But what are we going to see? Yes, Episode IX director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm announced that unused footage would be repurposed to bring Fisher back, but the question remains: What footage are we talking about here?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Makes its Mayan Apocalypse Matter
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be the final chapter in Lara Croft’s origin story, a transformation we’ve watched over the last five years as she evolves from a budding archaeologist reacting to a series of life-threatening circumstances, to a proactive agent of change in the world.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara’s hunting Trinity, trying to dismantle it cell by cell and stop the organization from doing… something terrible. And that’s Lara’s problem, really. She’s so focused on the prevention of Trinity’s machinations, that she fails to fully vet her own actions. The consequence of this blind stop-them-at-all-cost motivation is her inadvertent triggering of an ancient apocalyptic scenario. Oops.
