IMAX Report Shows Avengers 4 Film Release Date in April 2019 in Some International Territories

Though North American viewers will have to wait until May, viewers in other territories where the Marvel Avengers: Infinity War sequel will be launching in April can expect IMAX screenings to accompany the earlier release date.

The sequel is scheduled for a late April 2019 release date in the U.K., and IMAX's report indicates theatergoers will be able to see Avengers 4 in some territories in April. Avengers 4 is still scheduled for a May 3, 2019 release date domestically, however, and IMAX's report is not indicating the U.S. release date has been moved.

Marvel Studios had previously moved up the domestic release date of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 to the international release date to prevent spoilers for fans, but it remains unclear if anything similar will happen for the currently untitled Avengers sequel.

According to a quarterly financial report released by IMAX, the Marvel Avengers: Infinity War sequel may release in U.S. theaters in April 2019, opposed to its current release date of May 3, 2019.

The sequel is scheduled for a late April release date in the U.K., but the majority of movies on the IMAX schedule are organized by domestic release dates.

IMAX makes notes for "international markets" for any exceptions made on the schedule, but no mentions are included for Avenger 4, according to ComicBook.

Rockstar Games Directs Music Video Entirely in GTA V

The music video for Bosnian DJ Solomun's new song "Customer Is King" has been shot and directed by Rockstar Games, and it takes place entirely within Grand Theft Auto 5.

Using motion capture and animation, Rockstar placed Solomun into GTA 5 as a delivery man, making timed runs across Los Santos while running across familiar faces and events from the ever-popular game.

At different points he witnesses the three protagonists begin their jewelry store heist, he drops off some goods at Michael's house only to be hit on by his wife, and much more.

The song is the lead single off the "Customer Is King" EP, which is the one-hundredth release from Diynamic Music, founded by Solomun and Adriano Trolio. The video for the song, which debuted on noisey, was shot and directed by Rockstar Games. This is the first time the company has partnered with an artist to debut music using GTA 5 as a platform.

New Gentle Giant Statues Explore the Star Wars and Marvel Universes

Update 7/30: Check out all the Gentle Giant collectibles from SDCC below.

Gentle Giant is one of many companies showing off new geek-friendly collectibles at Comic-Con, and their booth definitely stands out from the crowd. Their booth shows off a number of enticing new statues and figures covering big franchises like Star Wars, Marvel and Star Trek.

Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at what's coming from Gentle Giant in the months ahead.

The Star Wars lineup covers a wide range of new and classic movies, though our favorite piece may be the Star Wars Rebels-inspired Ahsoka Tano bust. Also welcome are two new additions to the Jumbo Vintage Collection line of figures, Bib Fortuna and Cloud City Princess Leia. As for Marvel, we're happy to see the mini-bust line return after a prolonged absence, along with a terrific lineup of Wolverine statues. The real show-stopper, though, may be the pair of quarter scale Star Trek: Discovery statues featuring First Officer Michael Burnham and a Klingon Torchbearer.
