These Iconic Breaking Bad Characters Won’t Be in Better Call Saul Season 4

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan has warned fans not to expect any appearances from Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in the upcoming season of Better Call Saul.

“You will not see Walt or Jesse in Season 4 of Better Call Saul,” said Gilligan during today’s Breaking Bad 10th Anniversary Panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Gilligan explained that he didn't want to yank the viewers' chains, so he came out with the news ahead of time to prevent fans waiting all season for a cameo.

He did, however, reiterate that he still wants the characters to pop up eventually.

“We would be remiss if we didn’t see these folks at some point in the series,” said Gilligan, echoing comments he made earlier this month about finding a way to bring Walter and Jesse into Better Call Saul.

The Walking Dead: Andrew Lincoln’s Departure Confirmed

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, during an IMDb interview with Kevin Smith Smith, taped in advance for this year's San Diego Comic-Con, confirmed the strong rumor regarding the 9th season of the hit series being star Andrew Lincoln's last.

"It's looking that way," said Kirkman reluctantly, when asked by Smith if Lincoln was leaving. The departure of the Rick Grimes character of course, however it might wind up happening, marks a huge divergence from the comics where Rick still exists. "At the end of the day," Kirkman explained, "it's all about Andrew Lincoln. This is a human being. This is someone I have known for almost a decade, somebody that I love. He's been sweating in Georgia, away from his family, for so long."

The Predator Director Says New Movie Isn’t a Reboot

Speaking on IGN’s Comic-Con live show today, The Predator director Shane Black said the previous movies in the franchise did happen in the history of this new one.

When asked about where The Predator fits into the greater Predator universe, Black said “this is a sequel, it’s not a reboot.” That means that none of the movies are explicitly being retconned or ignored as far as we know.

You can watch the full interview here:

“The first movie in 1987 introduced people that are remembered and noted in this one,” Black explained. “The difference is now that with these repeated trips to Earth and these different incursions, humanity has noticed now.”

Telltale Doesn’t Rule Out More The Walking Dead Games After Season 4

Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Telltale Games Creative Director Kent Mudle left the door open to the potential for more The Walking Dead games from Telltale after Season 4.

During our Comic-Con livestream, IGN’s own Max Scoville asked Mudle about how Season 4 is being called "the final season" and if that means this is the end of Telltale’s relationship with The Walking Dead. Mudle simply responded by saying “This season is the end of Clementine’s journey, and that’s as much as I’ll say on that.”

You can watch the full interview and gameplay demo here:

While not a confirmation that more games are definitely coming, the implication is that Season 4 is the final game in this story, but potentially not the final season or The Walking Dead game overall.

Henry Cavill Thinks a Zack Snyder Cut Wouldn’t ‘Change Anything’

Superman himself Henry Cavill thinks a Zack Snyder cut of Justice League wouldn't "change anything."

Speaking to Yahoo! Movies, Cavill shared his thoughts on this alternate version of the DC film, which Warner Bros. recently confirmed won't be released. Cavill thinks Zack Snyder's cut of the movie, while intriguing, shouldn't be a priority for Warner Bros.

“I think it might be entertaining, for sure, and go, ‘Oh look, now I’ve scratched that itch,’ but it’s not going to change anything that I can think of, it’s not going to make huge amounts of money all of a sudden for a studio," Cavill said.
