The CW's Black Lightning has moved up Jordan Calloway from his recurring role as Khalil Payne to a series regular for season 2, according to The Wrap.

“I’m thrilled to have Jordan upped as a series regular," Akil said. "He was a great asset to our show in the role of Khalil/Painkiller during season one, and now that he has evolved into Painkiller, I can’t wait for you all to see him in Season 2."
Shazam! Trailer Shows Hero’s Origin Story
Shazam! premiered a new trailer at Comic-Con today.
The trailer opens on Billy Batson, a young child, going into foster care. Another child jokingly warns him that he's being placed with a tough family. While riding the train home one day, Batson hears a voice tell him he's been chosen. The train opens into an icy cave, where a man with bright white hair asks him to say his name. When Batson laughs at the name Shazam, he is transformed into an adult (Zachary Levi). The suit imbues him with extraordinary powers, including super strength. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong), the main antagonist in the film.
Wonder Woman 1984 Footage Screened at Comic-Con
Director Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine showed the first footage from Wonder Woman 1984 at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. The DC movie has only been filming for less than a month but the filmmaker was able to put together a sequence of Wonder Woman in action to show off to fans.
The sequence takes place at a shopping mall with Wonder Woman dropping into the food court much to the astonishment of a little girl. Diana tells the child to hold tight as she slides her across the food court floor into the arms of a giant plush teddy bear, which makes the girl giggle.
Wonder Woman then confronts a pair of gunmen, snatching the guns out of their hands and destroying them with her bare hands. The gunmen turn to run away and Wonder Woman uses her magic lasso to rope them both together. She then takes off running, dragging them both behind her as she leaps off the balcony onto the mall floor before, leaving the gunmen tied to the balcony.
First Wonder Woman 1984 Footage Shows Off ’80s Style, Action
Warner Bros. showed off new closed-door footage of Wonder Woman 1984 during its SDCC panel today, featuring plenty of '80s style, and a whole lot of action.
The trailer starts with Wonder Woman in her outfit in a mall. A little girl watches as Wonder Woman faces off against two men with guns. She saves the little girl and easily defeats the two. She uses her lasso to tie them up and then jumps off a balcony and swings away.
The footage cuts to Wonder Woman running through the streets super fast as a crowd of people stand by with old cars and watch.
“One of my favorite things about making the first movie in World War I, 1917, was getting to know the era. There was something about that time that was such the beginning of modernity," said director Patty Jenkins. "Here, I grew up in the 80’s.

Chris Pratt’s Second LEGO Movie Part 2 Character Pokes Fun at His Other Characters
Chris Pratt's new character in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will parody roles Pratt has played in other films.
While Pratt reprises his role as Emmet from the first Lego Movie, his second role as Rex Dangervest is essentially a pastiche of previous Pratt roles, such as the raptor-training ex-Navy veteran Owen Grady from Jurassic World.
A clip from the upcoming LEGO Movie sequel shown exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con today showed Rex Dangervest surrounded by raptor pals. Dangervest also dons a jetpack, guns, and a costume that are clear nods to Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.
San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 19-22, and IGN will be on location to provide you with live coverage from the event. Godzilla: King of the Monsters Will Have at Least Four Different Monsters
Speaking with IGN at Comic-Con today, Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty revealed that “there’s more than four” monsters duking it out in the upcoming film.
The ones we know about so far are Godzilla (obviously), Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah, who is being referred to by the more classic name Monster Zero. We don’t know who else will be joining them yet, but Dougherty jokingly said “It’s a party.”
Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch also said “There’s a lot of monsters,” though Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown was actually surprised to hear there were more than four, which means the others could play more minor roles.

Mega Man Cartoon Gets First Trailer – Comic-Con 2018
Mega Man: Fully Charged, the upcoming cartoon starring the Blue Bomber, has received its first trailer.
Revealed during the Mega Man: Fully Charged panel at SDCC, the trailer (which you can watch here) features Mega Man, a whole lot of robot masters, and Mega Man's ensuing powers from defeating those masters.
It's unclear if these are new or old robot masters, though one looks awfully close to Drill Man, and Mega Man definitely references "Fire Man" when using his powers.
