Fortnite: Honorable Rescue Mission Immortalized with New In-Game Tribute
Last week Fortnite fans were captivated by the heroic player who attempted to save an enemy in need, and now this mission has been immortalized with an honorable tribute added in today's update.
Players familiar with last week's failed rescue attempt remember it all too well. After discovering an enemy player who had fallen down to the bottom of a cliff, streamer Muselk devised ways to get the poor opponent out. Once he discovered the player was below the build limit on the map, Muselk drove an ATK off the side of the cliff in an attempt to give the enemy the bouncy roof of the vehicle. Although it was heartfelt, the golf cart ended up hurling the opponent into the ocean. You can watch the entire clip here.
The Importance of Batman and Superman’s Underwear
One of the more interesting news stories to come out of Comic-Con last week involves the return of Batman's classic costume. As of Batman #53 next month, the Caped Crusader will be back in his pre-Flashpoint costume, external underwear and all. This comes just a couple months after Superman brought back his red trunks. While these might seem like an unimportant, superficial changes to iconic characters, these costume overhauls actually represent a significant change in DC's approach to superhero storytelling.
Quiet Now Playable in Metal Gear Solid 5’s FOB Missions
Quiet, the fittingly silent sniper from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, is now playable in Forward Operating Base missions.
As announced by Konami, a new update has come to MGS5 for the first time in nearly a year. Available today, the update allows players to control Quiet in online FOB missions, where you can infiltrate other players' Forward Operating Bases. The update also includes new online development items and a new difficulty level for Event FOBs.
Quiet can use a sniper rifle with minimal shaking, her movement speed is extremely fast, and she has the ability to jump to high ledges where players would normally need to use a ladder to reach. She has a special dash move that helps her close in on enemies, and remaining still for a certain amount of time will make her nearly invisible.

The hyper-realistic survival sim Green Hell has announced it will be releasing on PC into Early Access late next month on August 29.
Green Hell drops you in a deadly jungle where you’ll need to manage three different kinds of hunger meters, fend off wildlife, and check your arms and legs for wounds and disease. You can watch the newly released Early Access trailer here:
Green Hell is single-player and will launch only on PC to start. For its Early Access launch, half of the final map will be available. While the focus will initially be on the survival mode, the beginnings of the story mode will also be playable.

Rick and Morty Creator Dan Harmon Issues Statement Over Offensive Video
Update: Harmon and Adult Swim have come forward with official statements regarding the offending video.
“At Adult Swim, we seek out and encourage creative freedom and look to push the envelope in many ways, particularly around comedy," said a spokesperson from Adult Swim in a statement to IGN. "The offensive content of Dan’s 2009 video that recently surfaced demonstrates poor judgement and does not reflect the type of content we seek out. Dan recognized his mistake at the time and has apologized. He understands there is no place for this type of content here at Adult Swim."
Harmon has issued a personal apology.
"In 2009, I made a “pilot” which strove to parody the series “Dexter” and only succeeded in offending," he said. "I quickly realized the content was way too distasteful and took the video down immediately. Nobody should ever have to see what you saw and for that, I sincerely apologize.”

Indie Publisher Surprise Attack Games Relaunches as Fellow Traveller
Australian independent games publisher Surprise Attack Games has today announced a new name and a new emphasis for the business. Rebranding as Fellow Traveller, the label will have “a new focus on funding, supporting and publishing unusual games, especially those with narrative at their core.”
Fellow Traveller also confirmed two new signings to the label alongside the relaunch: cyberpunk taxi-driving adventure Neo Cab (from Chance Agency) and alien ocean exploration game In Other Waters (by Jump Over the Age). Neo Cab, which casts players as one of the last remaining human taxi drivers in an almost entirely automated world, was spotlighted here on IGN last month as one of 10 great-looking games from E3 2018 which may have flown under your radar.
