Legion Renewed for Season 3
FX announced today it has renewed Noah Hawley’s (Fargo) trippy X-Men spinoff series Legion for Season 3.
According to the announcement, the show will return in 2019. Rwo episodes left to air in Legion’s second season. The show recently saw its original 10-episode Season 2 order upped by one more to 11 episodes for the season.
“Legion has redefined the superhero drama and exceeded all expectations as the intensity and revelation build through the second season,” said President of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions Eric Schrier. “We are incredibly proud of Noah Hawley’s achievement and are honored to continue the series as it pushes the boundaries of conventional television storytelling.”

Colorful PS4 Theme Released to Celebrate LGBT Pride Month
Sony has a released a colorful PS4 theme in celebration of LGBT pride month, which begins in June.
You can download the theme, officially called For All the Players, for free right now via the PlayStation Store. It features a rainbow aesthetic, brighter and more colorful menu icons, as well as a colorful signal boost of the PlayStation logo.

The theme first came out in 2017 for European PS4 owners in honor of London's Pride Event last July.

Wonder Woman 2 Teased by DC’s Geoff Johns
DC Entertainment president and CCO Geoff Johns posted a tease for Wonder Woman 2 that hints at the film's setting.
The tease, which Johns posted on Facebook, says "WW84." This almost certainly indicates the DC sequel will take place in 1984. Earlier this year at Cinemacon, Wonder Woman 2 director Patty Jenkins confirmed the movie will be set in the 1980s.

Chris Pratt Narrows Down When Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Will Start Filming
After previously indicating it would shoot next year, Avengers: Infinity War star Chris Pratt has narrowed down when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will begin filming.
Speaking to MTV, the Star-Lord actor confirmed the third Guardians movie will start shooting in January of 2019.
“I’m slated to film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in January, so we don’t know yet, time-wise, where that lines up
. I’m hoping it’s not the last you’ll see me, but I can’t be sure,” Pratt said when he was asked what his character would be doing between Infinity War and Avengers 4.
Brett Ratner Says He’s Directing Rush Hour 4, the Movie’s Producers Say Otherwise
Brett Ratner reportedly is claiming he's set to direct Rush Hour 4, despite the movie's producers saying otherwise.
THR reports Ratner is telling associates he's directing the project, allegedly hoping the fourth film in the action-comedy franchise would be the start of his comeback after he was accused of sexual misconduct several months ago.
According to THR, studio sources have said working with him on another film would be "'a suicide mission," following sexual misconduct allegations by several women against Ratner months ago.
"Brett has been walking around town telling people he's going to direct a Rush Hour movie because it's his only way back in," a high-level executive told THR. "He's trying to make believe he's employable."

Every Type Of Pokémon Fan Should Be Very Happy Right Now
The Pokémon Company – together with Game Freak and Niantic – announced not one, but three new Pokémon games that will launch within the next year and a half. Pokémon Quest for the Nintendo Switch and mobile, which was available for free on Switch immediately after the announcement; Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee for the Switch, to be released on November 16; and a core RPG title, also for the Switch, planned for 2019.
Fortnite: Blitz Showdown is Here and Offers V-Bucks as Prizes
Blitz Showdown is Fortnite's newest limited time mode and allows players to win prizes for scoring high.
Similar to the first Fortnite Solo Showdown, players are asked to play 25 matches where your placement and number of kills determine your score. The top 100 players, this time separated by region, will earn V-Bucks.
So what's different this time? For starters, each region will have its own top 100 players and set of prizes. The two North American servers count as one. This mode is also based on Blitz, a different limited time mode that speeds up storm times and forces you to play at a quicker pace.
Smallville Almost Had a Green Arrow and Lois Lane Spinoff Called Metropolis
Smallville’s Justin Hartley has revealed that his character of Oliver Queen almost headed to Metropolis for his own spinoff series alongside Erica Durance’s Lois Lane.
The spinoff news comes from Hartley himself who appeared on his former co-star Michael Rosenbaum’s (Lex Luthor) Inside of You podcast, as reported by Screenrant.
“While I was on the show, while I was on Smallville, there were several different spinoff ideas that they had,” Hartley said. “They wanted to do a spinoff called Metropolis or something like that, I heard whispers of that. It was Lois and Oliver in Metropolis and whatever that was. They were trying to extend the life of the show.”
