Disney to Reportedly Increase Its Fox Bid Following Comcast Offer
Disney is reportedly set to increase its $52.4 billion bid for 21st Century Fox to fend off Comcast.
CNBC reports Disney is prepared to add cash to its all-stock offer to win the bidding, however, the exact amount is not known. Last week, Comcast made an estimated $65 billion bid for Fox's assets after its offer last year was rejected due to antitrust concerns.
Fox will be holding a shareholders meeting this Wednesday, according to CNBC, to determine the Disney deal and discuss Comcast's offer. If the board decide Comcast's bid is superior, Disney would then have five days to match the $65 billion offer.
Preorder the Smash Bros. Ultimate GameCube Controller
If you want to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the old-fashioned way, now's your chance to preorder.
Less than a week after Nintendo announced the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would support GameCube controllers, the devices are now up for preorder on Amazon.
Complete with an updated Super Smash Bros. logo, the Smash GameCube controller will set you back $29.99. The GameCube controller adapter, which will support four controllers and appears to be the same one Nintendo sold with the Wii U, will cost $19.99. Both items' descriptions say they will release on Dec. 31, though this could just be a placeholder date, as Ultimate is set for a Dec. 7 release.
Fortnite’s in-Game TVs Broadcasting Mysterious Red Skull
Another Fortnite mystery is afoot, with red skulls being broadcast on the in-game TVs.
Fortnite looks like it's ushering in another in-game event, with a red skull being broadcast on the in-game TVs at Snobby Shores.
Epic Games used a similar approach with the meteor event, with the emergency broadcast being displayed on the in-game screens before it finally hit the map.

Destiny 2’s Cayde-6 Is Really, Truly Dead, Says Bungie
Bungie has some bad news for Destiny 2 fans who were holding out hope that fan-favorite character Cayde-6 wasn't truly dead in the Forsaken DLC trailer.
"He's dead. His ghost is dead," Bungie Principal Producer Scott Taylor told GamesRadar during E3. Continuing, Taylor explained that there were several reasons for the move.
"We wanted to establish the tone of the game and show that we're serious about it," he explained. "We also want people to process it. You'll play a mission with him, and you're not really sure when this is going to happen, or how, so the emotional experience of that would be very different if you just turned on the game, you saw it and it was all just a shock. It's actually a little more rich and interesting if you have time to sit with it and reflect."

Making the McLaren Senna in Forza Horizon 4
From the outside, the McLaren Technology Centre looks like a Bond villain’s lair. A narrow, paved path skirts the edge of a semi-circular lake before tracing a thin bridge over the water. The main building itself is also basically a semi-circle, although its curved glass façade splits the building and the lake into what I imagine would appear somewhat like a yin-yang symbol when viewed from above.
Inside things aren’t any less impressive. The entrance hall is wide, vast, and lined with millions upon millions of dollars’ worth of McLaren’s finest metal. McLaren Racing founder Bruce McLaren’s first ever racing car, a 1929 Austin 7, sits silently beside a special McLaren F1, the company’s famous road-going rocket which spent most of the ’90s to the early 2000s as the fastest production car on the planet. Indeed, the green F1 sitting in McLaren’s lobby is the very car Le Mans winner Andy Wallace reset the record with back in 1998. It’s still the fastest naturally-aspirated production car ever built.
Ant-Man and the Wasp More About Civil War Than Infinity War
I was among the members of the press invited last September to the Atlanta set of Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp. During our set visit, we interviewed director Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas -- as well as key production personnel -- about making the the Marvel sequel.
While they were understandably guarded about discussing certain aspects of the film, they did shed some light on the plot and characters. We found out interesting new details about the heroes' mission in the movie, the Quantum Realm (and the challenges of revisiting it, visually, this time), the new vehicle our heroes use in their journey into the Quantum Realm, the rivalry between two key characters, and more.
