Fallout 76’s Stealth Mode Lets You Disappear From the Mini-Map

Bethesda has revealed Fallout 76 will include a stealth mode which allows you to disappear from the mini-map, so other players cannot find you.

In a video posted to the official Fallout Twitter account, Jeff Gardiner, project lead for Fallout 76, was asked: "How do sneak perks and detection work in Fallout 76?"

Gardiner responded:

"As soon as you crouch, which engages our stealth mode, the dot

will very quickly fade away, so other players won’t be able to find you.”

Hearthstone’s Witchwood Set: Team 5 on Some of the Bonkers Early Designs

Now that Hearthstone's latest set of cards - The Witchwood - has been out for a while, it's time to take a deep dive into the design of the set with Team 5's Lead Initial Designer Peter Whalen and Lead Final Designer Dean Ayala. Over the course of this interview they reveal ideas for The Witchwood that didn't make it in, how designing the first set after rotation is different from the second or third, and take us through early design ideas for Odd and Even decks, Tess Greymane, Toki, Time-tinker and a whole lot more. They've also supplied work in progress art for some of the early designs!

PLEASE NOTE: This interview was conducted a few weeks ago but I decided to hold it until after the post-nerf meta settled, and until after E3 had come and gone.

Fallout 76 Beta Will Come to Xbox One First

Just as Vault 76's residents will emerge from Fallout 76's titular vault before any other vault's dwellers, Xbox One owners will be the first to play Bethesda Softworks' latest post-apocalyptic RPG.

Bethesda has revealed through an FAQ that Fallout 76's beta will have a timed exclusive release on Xbox One before later heading to PlayStation 4 and PC. Fallout 76's beta doesn't yet have a release date for any of the three platforms, but Bethesda noted that exact timing will eventually be announced through its Fallout social media channels.

There's only one way for gamers to get into the beta, and that's by preordering Fallout 76 ahead of its November 14 release. For help deciding which version to preorder, visit IGN's Fallout 76 preorder guide.

The Walking Dead: Jon Bernthal Will Return as Shane for Season 9

Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his role as Shane in The Walking Dead Season 9.

According to TVLine, Shane will appear in one episode in the new season. It's not known exactly what role the character will play in Season 9, but he could possibly show up as a hallucination or in flashbacks.

Bernthal has been busy on Netflix and Marvel's The Punisher, which debuted on the streaming service last year. Set for a second season find out what we thought of his outing as Frank Castle in IGN's The Punisher: Season 1 review.
