Hackers Reportedly Setting Porn As Nintendo Switch Profile Pictures

Hackers have reportedly found a way to upload their own Nintendo Switch profile pictures, with some setting pornographic images that can be seen publicly.

Nintendo only allows certain set profile images to be used on the Switch, but a homebrew tool has seemingly allowed hackers to change the image to whatever they want. And no, we're not going to show you the pictures.

These images were reportedly spotted by a concerned parent, who posted them to Reddit, advising parents to disable online services for the Nintendo Switch.

The post has since been removed for unspecified reasons, but originally read:

EA Says ‘Fair Is the Number One Thing’ Regarding Loot Boxes

EA has stated it wants the economy to be "fair" in its games, which is why loot boxes have been done away with.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, EA's chief design officer Patrick Söderlund explained why there the company has changed its thinking on loot boxes, which means there aren't any in Anthem or Battlefield V.

"For us, we have come together after the learnings with what happened last year," Söderlund said. "We've put together a framework on how we believe a large service should function, and it's something we apply across the whole company, across all products. You have to look at it from the perspective of what's fair. Fair is the number one thing. When you buy a product from us, you should get full value for the money you spend."

How to Kill Venom

Venom is one of Spider-Man's most powerful foes, at least when he isn't making a go at being a hero as a Lethal Protector. He has all of Spidey's powers, even greater super-strength and a few extra tricks up his symbiotic sleeve for good measure. However, Venom is far from invulnerable. This character has weaknesses, and those weaknesses have led to him being killed or mortally wounded in past Marvel stories.

Read on to find out what Venom's weaknesses are and learn about when this character has met his end in Marvel's comics, movies and TV series.

Venom's Weaknesses

The Venom symbiote has two major weaknesses - sound and fire. Loud noises cause the symbiote to writhe in pain. That's how Peter Parker originally freed himself of the symbiote. A tolling church bell drove the two apart and sent the fleeing symbiote straight into the arms of an unsuspecting Eddie Brock. Even now, sonic weapons tend to be the first line of defense against Venom and his fellow symbiotes.

God of War: Here’s What Old Kratos Looks Like Without the Beard

We finally know what old Kratos from God of War would look like without a beard - and it's not exactly charming.

God of War art director Raf Grassetti tweeted a series of images showing what Kratos' base face looked like before the addition of shaders and textures. This included an image of a beardless and hairless Kratos.

The beardless God of War looks even less inviting than before - if that's even possible - with a vibe that suggests he might mug you in a back alley. Or, you know, murder you and wear your ashes like suncream for the rest of his life.

Despite his rugged appearance, in our God of War review we found Kratos makes an epic comeback as The Nine Realms' greatest dad. We  gave the title a perfect 10 as a whole, praising its outstanding characters, world, and combat.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Ending Explained

FULL SPOILERS ahead obviously!!

The end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom takes the series in a dramatic new direction. Isla Nublar has effectively been destroyed – or at best, turned into an uninhabitable rock just off the coast of Costa Rica.

But more importantly, the dinosaurs are now free. Properly free.

During Fallen Kingdom the natural order appears to be reasserting itself, ushering the dinosaurs towards extinction once again. Even Claire, who for the majority of the movie advocates their conservation, decides to let them go the way of, well, the dinosaurs, allowing them to be poisoned in the lab beneath Lockwood’s mansion.

But at the very last minute, Maisie, let’s them go, and pushing all subtext firmly to one side, says, “I had to. They’re like me. They’re alive.”

Friday the 13th: The Game Will Receive No Future Content

Due to the ongoing legal disputes over the Friday the 13th franchise, Friday the 13th: The Game will receive no future content.

This news comes from an official forum post from the game's co-creator Wes Keltner, who said of the issue: "Development on games can’t just pause indefinitely and pick back up again; it doesn’t work that way. We can’t keep building content that may never see the light of day. We can't

either. We can’t add any content, whatsoever. Nada."

The legal dispute in question is complicated, involving the original film's scriptwriter, the 1976 Copyright Act and the future proceedings of a Connecticut federal court case. With Friday the 13th: The Game falling under this complex array of problems, it's simply not feasible for Gun Media and IllFonic to continue producing new content for the game.

ABC’s Roseanne Spinoff is Officially Happening – Without Roseanne

ABC has officially picked up the Roseanne spinoff, which is currently using the working title of "The Conners," IGN has confirmed.

The spinoff will feature every member of the Roseanne revival except its titular star, Roseanne Barr, whose racist tweet resulted in the show's cancellation last month. John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Lecy Goranson (Becky) and Michael Fishman (D.J.), will all reprise their roles, and the show is expected to take over the 8 p.m. Tuesday timeslot that Roseanne Season 11 was scheduled to occupy this fall.

ABC emphasized that Barr will have no creative or financial involvement in the spinoff, which has been given a straight-to-series order for 10 episodes.
