Prepare to Worship Mondo’s Preacher Statues
You probably don't want to live in the supremely messed up world of AMC's Preacher, but thanks to Mondo, soon you can safely bring home a slice of the dysfunction without risking bodily harm, intoxication, or any confusing encounters with God Dog.
IGN has an exclusive first look at Mondo's upcoming Preacher statues, which are based on illustrated poster prints of hero Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) and the vampiric hellraiser Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) that artist Rory Kurtz created specifically for Mondo. Some lucky Preacher fans may have already managed to get their hands on the Jesse poster at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, but the Cassidy print will be available for the first time in an exclusive package with his statue. Preorders begin Monday, June 25 at MondoTees.com.
Nintendo Not Abandoning Single-Player Games
Nintendo's first-party lineup for much of 2018 puts a heavy emphasis on multiplayer-focused games, including Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Party, and, of course, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. But even in the era of battle royale games being some of the most-played in the world, Nintendo has not moved away from focusing on single-player focused experiences.
Speaking to IGN at E3 2018, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime told IGN the slate of multiplayer titles coming to Switch is not indicative of a focal shift for the system, as it's been a part of the console's DNA from the start.
"A core proposition with Nintendo Switch is the ability to be playing a game and having an experience, seeing someone looking over at what you're doing, and the ability to just pop out a controller, hand it to someone, and to jump into a multiplayer experience really is a key part of the proposition," Fils-Aime said. Leaked Fortnite PS4 Bundle Includes Exclusive Skin
Fortnite fans in the market for a PlayStation 4 might want to hold out a few more weeks. An Italian PlayStation Facebook post has revealed that a Fornite PlayStation 4 bundle is coming July 16. Included in the package is a special "royal bomber" skin seen in the image below, as well as 500 V-bucks.
IGN has reached out to Sony about the Fortnite PS4 bundle coming to other regions. Anyone thinking about jumping into Fortnite on PlayStation 4 should keep in mind that they won't be able to carry over their progression from Sony's system to other consoles like Switch.
Update: Bethesda’s Fallout Shelter Lawsuit ‘Amicably Resolved’
Update 01/04/19: Bethesda's lawsuit has now been settled, with two parties releasing a short statement:
"Bethesda Softworks and Behaviour Interactive jointly announced today that the parties have amicably resolved the lawsuit Bethesda brought against Behaviour and others related to the Fallout Shelter and Westworld mobile games".
UPDATE: Warner Bros. has responded to the Bethesda lawsuit in a statement provided to IGN.
"As one of the world’s leading creators of intellectual property, including the ground-breaking television series Westworld, Warner Bros. has a deep respect for intellectual property rights. As such, the assertions by Bethesda Softworks that Warner’s Westworld mobile game improperly used source code from Bethesda’s Fallout Shelter are as surprising as they are unsubstantiated. Warner Bros. has been assured by the game developer, Behaviour Interactive, that Bethesda’s allegations are untrue and that none of Bethesda’s code was used in the Westworld game. Moreover, contrary to Bethesda’s baseless accusation, Warner Bros. at no time “induced” Behaviour to use the Fallout Shelter code in Westworld."

Life Is Strange will begin its second season on September 27, with the first episode coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Announced on Twitter, the sequel will again comprise 5 episodes. A teaser trailer shows the announcement being sewn across a tattered backpack, but it looks like we won't see the significance of that image until August, when developer Dontnod says we'll get more information.
Episode 1 of #LifeisStrange2 will release on September 27th 2018.
Nintendo Exploring More Entertainment Partnerships Like Mario Movie
After expressing reticence over the years, Nintendo made the surprising announcement of a partnership with Minions production studio Illumination to create a Super Mario animated movie. But that isn't the end of Nintendo's intention to explore the entertainment space.
Speaking to IGN at E3 2018, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime explained that Nintendo is having a "range of conversations" in the entertainment sphere akin to the Illumination partnership and the planned Universal Studios Nintendo theme park. But, of course, much like with its lack of announcements for franchises like Animal Crossing and Mother 3, Nintendo will reveal those partnerships when the time is right and something is in the works.
Devil May Cry 5 Development Is 75 Percent Done
Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 is supposed to release by March 31, and if its development progress to date is anything to go by, its chances of meeting that timeline are high. WCCF Tech reports that Capcom informed Japan's Famitsu magazine that the action game's development is already 75 percent done.
In the same interview, Capcom also stated that protagonists Nero and Dante will square off against their strongest foe yet in Devil May Cry 5. The story will center on "something mysterious" happening in the demon world, with Nero on a quest to recover something (someone) that (or whom) he's lost.

After arriving on Xbox One in April, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has sold 1 million copies.

In November, Ninja Theory noted that Hellblade hit 500,000 downloads and already turned a profit for the studio. And just this month, the independent developer was acquired by Microsoft along with PlayGround Games, Undead Labs and other teams.
