Kingdom Hearts Producer Wants Franchise to be in Disney Parks
Kingdom Hearts executive producer Shinji Hashimoto wants the franchise to be featured in Disney parks across the world.
During Square Enix's annual shareholders meeting (translation via KHInsider), Hashimoto was asked if a physical crossover between Kingdom Hearts and Disney parks could ever happen. Hashimoto responded by saying it'd be a dream come true.
"As a Japanese person, it's been nothing short of a dream to be able to play something developed by a Japanese creator with Disney, especially the same Disney that owns such properties like Frozen and Star Wars," Hashimoto said.
Disney Parks Introduces App to Keep Guests Entertained in Lines
The new Play Disney Parks app aims to make waiting in lines at Disney parks more bearable.
Available on Android and iOS on June 30, the app supports both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts.
According to Gamespot, Play Disney Parks introduces games while waiting in certain lines, playlists of music for when guests are exploring the parks, and a series of achievements and trivia challenges that appear at specific locations within the parks.

Marvel Comics’ Contradictory Handling of Iron Man
These days, few ongoing Marvel Comics series last more than a year or two before getting relaunched. Iron Man is certainly no exception to the rule. In recent years we've seen the character cycle through new creative teams and new storylines, always seeming to revert back to square one in the end. But if the seesawing nature of Marvel's Iron Man comics isn't unique, it is unusually frustrating given the role this character plays in the Marvel Universe.

The Black Panther Suit Heads to the Smithsonian
The Smithsonian announced it will display the Black Panther suit worn by Chadwick Boseman during the first African American Film Festival in October.
After pulling in more than $1 billion in global box office sales and standing as the highest-grossing film by a black director, part of the film's legacy will now live at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture.
Pokemon Go-Esque The Walking Dead Game Coming
The Walking Dead is getting a mobile game similar to Pokemon Go in July.
As detailed on the game's website, The Walking Dead: Our World is an augmented reality, location-based mobile title from Next Games which lets players fight zombies anywhere in the world. Players "collect stashes, find missios, and rescue survivors."
Players can collect and team up with some of the main characters from the AMC show, such as Rick, Michonne, Daryl, and more. The Walking Dead mobile game also lets players team up with others to take on weekly challenges.
The Walking Dead: Our World will be released on July 12 for iOS and Android devices.
The Predator Gets a Gruesome New Poster
A gruesome new poster for The Predator has been released following its second trailer.
The one-sheet, revealed on Twitter, features a bigger alien holding the severed head of a predator, whose eyes are still glowing red. You can spot the predator's spine with green blood trickling down. The tweet's caption reads: "The hunt has evolved. 9/14."

Adventure Time Will Get an Epic, Musical Farewell at Comic-Con
Cartoon Network plans to say goodbye to Adventure Time in style at San Diego Comic-Con - IGN can exclusively reveal that the show will celebrate its final season (and final Comic-Con panel) with music, special guests and plenty of surprises.
The Adventure Time panel will take place Friday, July 20 in the Hilton Bayfront's Indigo Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with "a live musical performance featuring some of your favorite tracks from the series, along with special guests and an exclusive series finale trailer," per Cartoon Network.
Steven Universe is also getting plenty of love at SDCC - fans will be able to step inside the world of the show at Cartoon Network's booth, where they'll be greeted by "large, iconic figures of the Crystal Gems above a crystal landscape. A screen embedded in the crystal will show what’s waiting inside – the chance to be in an epic parallax scene with their favorite characters."
James Gunn Has Submitted the First Draft for Guardians 3
The first draft for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is finished.
Speaking to Collider, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has confirmed director James Gunn has submitted the first draft of the screenplay. Filming on the third Guardians movie is set to begin in early 2019.

On Twitter, Gunn shared a picture of the script with the caption, "Every bit of my heart."
Kevin Feige Says More Female Superheroes Will Come to the MCU
Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige has said there will be more female superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future - possibly outweighing male heroes.
Rumors are circulating about a possible film starring an all-female MCU hero cast, with actresses including Tessa Thompson, Brie Larson, and Scarlett Johansson all apparently pitching the idea to Feige, so Screenrant asked the Marvel boss if there was any truth to it.
Joel Embiid Announced as NBA Live 19’s Cover Star
While last night’s 2018 NBA Awards ceremony announced Houston Rocket’s James Harden as the league’s MVP, the Philadelphia 76ers’ center Joel Embiid received another honor.
Embiid, the third-overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, was revealed to be the cover athlete of EA Sports’ NBA Live 19.
Embiid, 24, is a 7-foot center from Cameroon who was named to his first NBA All-Star team and led the 76ers to the playoffs this past year. He was nominated for Defensive Player of the Year at last night's award ceremony but lost to Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz.
