How Gamora’s Infinity War Story Is Different in the Comics

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Avengers - Infinity War!

A great many characters died during the course of Avengers: Infinity War. Them's the breaks when an all-powerful villain is obsessed with eliminating half of all life in the universe. But arguably none of these deaths hit quite as hard as Gamora's. This fan-favorite character found herself sacrificed by her adoptive father in order for him to claim the Soul Stone.

This surprise twist has sparked a newfound interest in Gamora's comic book adventures. Yes, Gamora did indeed die in the comics, though that was hardly the end of her journey. Those comics also offer some crucial hints as to what's next for the character. Read on to find out how Infinity War drew from the source material.

Life Is Strange Comic Continues Beyond One of Game’s Endings

Before continuing further, please note this article contains spoilers for Life Is Strange. The story deals with the conclusion of the game.

An upcoming Life Is Strange comic series will continue the story beyond one of the game's heartbreaking endings.

Revealed by its Amazon product description, which was first spotted by Eurogamer, the official Life Is Strange Collection from comics artist Emma Vieceli will contain a story called Life is Strange: Dust.

God of War Future Updates Detailed

Sony Santa Monica has detailed its plan for upcoming God of War updates, which will include Photo Mode.

The studio's support update highlights a few of the changes it intends to roll out in patches. The previously announced Photo Mode is still on the cards, and following last month's update that added an option to increase text size "for map, goals, codex and the resources tab of the UI menus," there are further plans to introduce a "global increase to text size in all menus and subtitles."

Madden Director Leaves EA, Teases “New Direction” for the Series

Rex Dickson, creative director for the Madden NFL series has left EA, and says the franchise could go in a "new direction".

Dickson announced the news in a statement on Twitter, saying that his decision is a "private one" whilst reassuring the community that "there is no drama or story" behind it.

"This decision was made after many discussions with other leaders on the team," he wrote. "We collectively agreed this was the best path forward for everyone involved. This is as much for me and my family as it is about giving the team, the community and the Madden franchise a chance for a new direction."

UPS Considering Selling Its Amazing Labo Carry Case

UPS is considering mass producing its Nintendo Labo carry case after going viral on Twitter.

The UPS Store used leftover cardboard to create 'The Labo Toy-Con-Tainer', a case that holds every item within the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit.

Deadly Premonition Creator’s The Good Life Hits Kickstarter Goal

Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro's Kickstarter campaign for The Good Life has reached its target, and the Deadly Premonition creator has added a Switch port as a stretch goal.

The campaign was relaunched last month after the initial campaign to get the game funded failed to come to fruition. Swery announced that it had hit the Kickstarter goal of 68 million yen / £456,000 / $650,000 last night, and tweeted the news along with plans for a Nintendo Switch port as the first stretch goal.

Black Widow Movie: Marvel Has Reportedly Met with More Than 65 Directors

Marvel is taking it nice and slow when it comes to the Black Widow film.

According to Variety film reporter Justin Kroll, the studio has met with more than 65 directors to helm the project.

"Fun fact: More then 65 directors have met for the Black Widow job. Marvel being extremely thorough on this one."

Back in January, the film -- which has yet to be officially greenlit -- brought on Jac Schaeffer to pen the script. His prior work includes a comedy called The Shower, and the screenplay for the upcoming comedy Nasty Women starring Anne Hathaway.

Tom Holland Improvised THAT Avengers: Infinity War Moment

Warning! Full Avengers: Infinity War SPOILERS follow! 

Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo answered questions from eager students at an Iowa City high school for 90-minutes, and revealed an interesting bit of information about THAT tragic Spider-Man scene at the end of the movie.

According to a Reddit post from one of the students in attendance, Joe Russo confirmed that Tom Holland did, in fact, improvise that heartbreaking death scene after Thanos snaps his fingers and kills half of the universe's population.

Joe and Anthony Russo were both in Iowa City visiting their alma mater, the University of Iowa. During the Q&A, Joe Russo explained how shooting two massive movies like Avengers 3 and 4 can have a big effect on Hollywood, according to the Iowa City Press-Citizen:
