Carlton Cuse and Joe Hill, the writer of the graphic novel, will redevelop the show for Netflix.
Valve Removes School Shooting Game From Steam
Valve has removed the controversial school shooting game Active Shooter and its developer from the Steam marketplace.
The description of Active Shooter (now removed,) called it a "dynamic SWAT simulator in which dynamic roles are offered to players." In the game, you could play as a shooter, a SWAT team member, or a civilian, and its trailer depicted a shooter massacring his way through school halls.
Understandably, Active Shooter attracted controversy on its forums, with one Steam user calling it a 'step too far' despite being a fan of 'offensive humor'.
Today, Valve took down Active Shooter from Steam, as well as any game published by Revived Games and publisher Acid, but not for the reasons you might think.
Core Pokemon RPG Coming to Nintendo Switch 2019
The Pokemon Company announced that the next installment of its core Pokemon RPG series is arriving in late 2019 on the Nintendo Switch. This core game, which was teased last year at E3, is not to be confused with Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.
“Now today I can only tell you of it’s existence, but it’s another game we’re pouring all of our creativity into" said longtime Pokemon director, producer, and composer Junichi Masuda, who is directing the title.
Everything We Know About Pokemon Quest for Nintendo Switch
Pokemon Quest was officially revealed today alongside Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Both are for the Nintendo Switch, but Pokemon Quest is available to download, for free, today worldwide on the Nintendo eShop. The new Pokemon adventure will be available for free on mobile in late June.
Described as a “rambunctious expedition RPG” by developer Game Freak, Pokemon Quest features cube-ified Pokemon called Pokexel adventuring on the island of Tumblecube, where everything is a cube. It features only the first generation of Pokemon for now.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee were officially revealed by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo today. The pair of Pokemon games are coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 16 and are not considered part of the “core series” of Pokemon games, though they share many core series features. These aren’t the Pokemon games teased during last year’s E3, but that game, a core series Pokemon RPG, is scheduled for the back-half of 2019.
Goodbye, Roseanne. It’s for the Best
Roseanne Barr, the racist, has gotten Roseanne, the revived hit ABC sitcom, cancelled after just one season back on the air. It’s a shame, as the original show is a classic and the premise of the new season had the potential to build on that legacy in a manner it was uniquely suited for. But considering how the show’s return panned out creatively during its nine-episode run this spring, and given its star’s outbursts in the real world, the series’ demise is for the best. (For more on what Roseanne tweeted, head here.)
The fact that Barr -- and the writers behind the new season, which debuted to crazy-good ratings last March -- had chosen to make their eponymous character a Trump supporter brought all kinds of publicity to the show, positive, negative, and everywhere in between. But if there was ever a sitcom ideally positioned to depict the current climate of political and cultural division in the U.S., it was Roseanne.
Pokemon Quest for Nintendo Switch Announced
Pokemon Quest for the Nintendo Switch was just announced at The Pokémon 2018 Video Game Press Conference.
According to Pokemon's official Twitter account, Pokemon Quest is a "free-to-start" game that allows trainers to "face off against wild Pokémon and embark on many exciting expeditions."
Pokemon Quest takes place on Tumblecube Island, which you can explore while battling wild Pokemon, gathering treasure and befriending new Pokemon with a team of up to three. You'll have special items called Power Stones to strengthen your team, and you'll get to decide which characteristics your Pokemon will have.
Andrew Lincoln Leaving The Walking Dead in Season 9?
The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln will reportedly depart the AMC series by the end of Season 9.
Collider has heard that by the time the series' ninth season comes to a close, the actor who plays Rick Grimes will no longer be a part of the show. According to the outlet, Lincoln's character will appear in six episodes of Season 9, which is in line with a similar report from Deadline.
Meanwhile, it doesn't look like Norman Reedus will be leaving AMC's post-apocalyptic zombie show anytime soon. Us Weekly has heard the actor signed a $20 million contract to remain on the show, and Collider reports Daryl Dixon is expected to become the show's new lead.
