Two Point Hospital Is Shaping up to Be the Successor Theme Hospital Deserves
Two Point Hospital has a lot to live up to. It’s a spiritual successor to the 1997 classic Theme Hospital, being developed by many of the same folk that made the original. Thankfully, the charm and detail I saw all throughout the early demo I played made me more confident that Two Point Hospital could be the revival fans have been waiting decades for.
You’re put in charge of a private hospital and have to build out rooms, buy equipment, and hire staff to efficiently get patients in, diagnosed, cured, and out. Doing that makes you money, which lets you expand, which makes you more money, and so on. But unlike some similar builder games, you don’t choose the footprint of your building, so eventually you’ll run out of space and it becomes a game of optimization instead of expansion.

Fast & Furious: Supercharged Gets Souped-up for Universal’s Orlando Theme Park
Universal Studios Orlando have unveiled a souped-up version of the Fast & Furious: Supercharged ride that first debuted at their California theme-park in 2015. While the main ride at the core of the experience is largely the same, this new version features some major upgrades that make it even better than the original.
Fast & Furious: Supercharged combines an enveloping 3D film, sensory effects, and ride vehicle vibrations to put guests in a set piece that feels right at home in any of the series' films. It even includes fan-favorite characters like Vin Diesel's Dom, Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs, and Michelle Rodriguez's Letty.
Check out a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the ride:
WoW Player Gets a Year in Prison for Blizzard DDoS Attack
A World of Warcraft player has been fined and sentenced to a year in prison after carrying out a DDoS attack on Blizzard's servers.
GamesIndustry.biz reports that Calin Mateias was extradited to the US from his home country of Romania last year to face federal charges after his 2010 DDoS attack. Mateias plead guilty in February and has already paid $30,000 to Blizzard in compensation.
Mateias was apparently "motivated by a juvenile desire to win the game, and for others to lose it" and was embroiled in a dispute with his fellow players.

Battlefield V Will Have a Single-Player Mode
The upcoming Battlefield V will include "compelling single-player stories", seemingly pointing to a continuation of the campaign style introduced in Battlefield 1.
While Battlefield's traditional competitor, Call of Duty has apparently dropped a single-player mode for this year's Black Ops 4, it seems DICE and EA will not be following suit.
As part of yesterday's earnings report, EA CEO Andrew Wilson described the upcoming game:
EA Insists Its Loot Boxes Are Not Gambling
Despite gambling regulators clamping down on loot boxes in video games, EA CEO Andrew Wilson insists that the publisher does not consider the likes of FIFA Ultimate Team packs gambling.
"We don't believe that FIFA Ultimate Team or loot boxes are gambling," he said during an investor call. "Firstly, players always receive a specified number of items in each FUT pack, and secondly we don't provide or authorise any way to cash out or sell items or virtual currency for real money."
Wilson also addressed the sale of in-game items through third-party sites, which has become the crux of some arguments for loot boxes as gambling: "While we forbid the transfer of items or in-game currency outside
This Is How Much Tom Hardy Made for Venom
Making a Hollywood blockbuster with actors like Tom Hardy in Venom, or Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5 can cost studios a lot of money, but how much do these A-list stars actually make?
According to a report from Variety, Hollywood's stars don't command the salaries they once used to in the golden age of paydays in the '90s, but that doesn't mean that actors like Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Vin Diesel are in the poor house. Even with studios spending more on special effects and less on talent, a film star can still earn a pretty penny for their work.
The 100 Creator Breaks Down That Long-Awaited Reunion
This interview contains spoilers for The 100 Season 5, episode 3, "Sleeping Giants."
It took them six years, but Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) have finally reunited on The 100. It was the "Bellarke" moment fans have been waiting for, ever since the Season 4 finale separated the two former leaders with Bellamy and the rest of the Spacekru believing Clarke had died so they could live. But the tense hour of "Sleeping Giants" was all build up to the final moment when Bellamy arrived back on Earth in the nick of time to save Clarke from getting killed by Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic), walking out from the headlights as her literal savior.
The long-awaited moment when Clarke saw Bellamy again has been been six years in the making on the series (and a year in the making for fans watching in real-time), and it wasn't an easy journey, hinging on Bellamy and the rest of the Spacekru successfully flying over the prisoner ship Eligius for fuel, and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) and Murphy (Richard Harmon) staying behind to keep the 283 prisoners in cryo-sleep hostage so Bellamy could broker peace with the prisoners who had landed on the ground. Now most of Spacekru is safely back on Earth, with the intention of using the sleeping Eligius crew as leverage to ensure that no one else dies on the ground. What could go wrong?
