Why Knights of the Old Republic 2 Tells My Favourite Star Wars Story
When The Last Jedi was released in December 2017, it was polarising to say the least. Critics lauded it, but fans were divided; some loved its unique take on the Star Wars universe, while others felt it betrayed the foundations upon which the galaxy far, far away was built.
The divisive response got me thinking: what makes a Star Wars story good? Personally, I rather enjoyed The Last Jedi, although I can certainly understand the perspectives of those that didn't; the way Rian Johnson chose to portray Luke Skywalker is perhaps, the perfect example.
Think about the key elements of the Star Wars universe - the Force, the Jedi, the ongoing conflict between the light side and the dark side. The Last Jedi presents these in a way that tends to go against some of the more commonly accepted tropes that are present in the other films. The Last Jedi, after all, almost completely dismisses the concept of black and white, choosing instead to colour its story and characters in shades of grey.

Lethal Weapon Recasts Lead With Seann William Scott as New Character
Lethal Weapon has been renewed for Season 3, with Seann William Scott joining the show as the new co-lead.
FOX announced Scott will play a new character—replacing Clayne Crawford's Martin Riggs—who partners up with Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). This will be Scott's first series regular role in a network TV show.

Crawford was recently fired from the series following two on-set incidents related to concerns over working conditions. Crawford had to apologize for those two specific incidents, with the actor reportedly completing studio-appointed therapy.
New Superhot Game Featuring Japan-Inspired Setting Announced
A new Superhot game set in Japan has been revealed by Japanese developer GameTomo.
Tentatively titled Superhot JP, the game was revealed on GameTomo's website and will be a standalone title within the Superhot universe inspired by Japanese culture. The game is being developed in Tokyo with guidance from Superhot Team.
Superhot JP will feature an all-new storyline as well as a range of Japanese settings including "hot springs, samurai castles... karaoke bars and bullet trains." An all-new Japanese themed UI and menu will also be incorporated.
The game will boast approximately "15-18 regular levels and 3-4 endless levels" and will be priced "very reasonably." The studio plans to release the game for "at least" PS4 and PC. There is no official release date as of yet, but the game will be released in Japan first "and then possibly other countries worldwide."
Star Wars Toys are Better Again, Sort Of

There are almost as many different Star Wars toys as there are stars in the sky, and there are almost as many different varieties, too. There are some really awesome Star Wars toys, and some of the lines aimed at collectors are absolutely top-shelf. But then there are the mass-market figures that vary in quality. Those old Kenner figures definitely scratched the Star Wars itch back in the 1980s, but by modern standards they're really primitive.
That's not to say those old figures aren't charming as hell, and I think eBay prices will back me up, but as far as quality of sculpt and articulation, we've come a long way. But the increase in quality isn't a straight line. There have been... some dips. The Force Awaken toys were a bit of a step back in terms of Star Wars figures, but it looks like the toys for Solo have brought the toys back to a pretty decent level of quality.
Avengers: Infinity War Confirmed Off Screen Deaths Resolve Some Big Marvel Questions

Avengers: Infinity War Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have finally revealed what happened to the off screen Marvel characters after Thanos snapped his fingers, killing half of the universe's population.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, the Russo brothers confirmed the fate of some of the Avengers, while describing others as too spoilery to reveal at this moment. Hopefully, that means the characters they chose not to mention will come back for Avengers 4, or another future MCU film. Here's the list, according to the outlet.

Chris Evans to Star in New Disaster Thriller From District 9 Director
Chris Evans and District 9 director Neill Blomkamp are teaming up for the new disaster thriller, Greenland.
The movie centers on one family's fight for survival during a cataclysmic natural disaster. Not much else about the plot is currently known. Principal photography will begin in the last quarter of 2018, but there's no release date set yet.
Anton is producing the project along with Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk. Sébastien Raybaud, Harold van Lier, Nik Bower, and Deepak Nayar are executive producing. STXinternational is handling international distribution.
“Greenland is the kind of highly commercial genre fare that sees Neill Blomkamp doing what he does best: delivering a smart, fresh, high concept narrative in a world we can easily recognize,” David Kosse said, president of STXinternational.
