Rage 2: Release Window, Gameplay Details Announced

Rage 2 will be released in Spring 2019, and will be a fully open-world game its developers describe as a "shooterverse".

Revealed in a press release alongside the game's first gameplay trailer (below), the game will cover a variety of post-apocalyptic terrain, "from lush jungles and treacherous swamps to sun-scorched deserts."

The game returns to the original's focus on both over-the-top gunplay and vehicle combat, with upgradable guns, Nanotrite Powers (currently we only know of "a devastating slam attack" and a "lethal energy push"), and Overdrive, "the ability to push your guns beyond their mechanical limits."

Bethesda's calling it "more than a shooter, more than an open world game – it’s a shooterverse."

The promise of 4K has been realized over the last few years, with graphics cards growing more powerful while display prices fall. We've had 4K monitors, and the ability to drive them at 60fps, for a while now. But that's as fast a refresh rate as you could get in 4K HDR. If you wanted something faster, you needed to drop the resolution. There are tons of 1440p monitors running at 144Hz, providing fast, smooth, responsive movement at a better-than-HD resolution. In the world of professional gaming, where ultra-fast reflexes require ultra-fast displays, 144Hz is the standard.

Agents of SHIELD Renewed for Season 6

Update: In revealing its lineup for the upcoming TV season, ABC has confirmed Agents of SHIELD won't return until 2019.

As reported by TVLine, ABC President Channing Dungey announced SHIELD's shortened sixth season will be held until the U.S. Summer 2019 TV season. Dungey also denied the idea that the shorter, summer-scheduled season indicates the upcoming season will be the show's last.

"I feel like Season 5 was their creatively strongest yet, so I don’t at the moment have any plans to think of Season 6 as the last season," Dungey told TVLine. "By putting it in the summer, we’re going to be able to ‘super-serve’ the fan base that loves that show and hopefully give it an opportunity to continue on longer than we would if it was
