Westworld Creators Plan to Spoil Season 2 to Prevent Spoilers
Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have an ingenious plan to prevent online spoilers in Season 2: By spoiling Season 2 themselves.
Nolan and Joy detailed the "controversial" plan - which they'd previously teased during the show's panel at South By Southwest - via a Reddit post during an AMA; which is fitting, considering Reddit was the source of many fan theories that turned out to be true as Season 1 progressed.
Are Marvel Actors Selling Out? Zoe Saldana Doesn’t Think So
Actress Zoe Saldana is no stranger to blockbuster franchises, starring in pivotal roles in Star Trek, Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy, and this year's highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War, as the powerful green alien, Gamora.
Saldana is a fan of the sci-fi/comic book genres, so it's no surprise that she had some choice words for her Hollywood peers that would call actors starring in superhero films sellouts. In a recent interview with Net-A-Porter, the actress gives her response:
“I’ve been in rooms with people in this industry who are great at what they do, but they’re absolutely elitist and they look down at movies like the Marvel films or actors like myself," Saldana told Net-A-Porter. "They think we’re selling out in some way.

The Breakout Star of Solo Also Created Our Favorite New Show
Solo: A Star Wars Story features plenty of memorable performances, but perhaps the most valuable new addition to Star Wars canon is L3-37, a spunky new female droid voiced by Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. While her storyline has a few unexpected twists, L3 stands out as much because of her personality as because of the plot - she's a much more informal (and rebellious) droid than the likes of 3PO or Rogue One's K-2, as well as being the sidekick of undisputed Solo MVP Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover).
The painfully funny (and sometimes just plain painful) Fleabag became a breakout hit for Amazon and the BBC in 2016, but 2018 promises to be an even bigger year for Waller-Bridge, between the the multihyphenate's Solo outing and her critically-acclaimed new BBC America thriller Killing Eve, which ends its freshman season run on May 27.
Bumblebee Writer Takes Over Scripting Batgirl Movie
DC and Warner Bros.' Batgirl movie has found a new writer in Christina Hodson.
THR reports Hodson, who penned the upcoming Transformers spin-off Bumblebee, will now be taking over scripting duties on the project. This comes two months after writer-director Joss Whedon exited the film because he couldn't come with a story after reportedly spending a year trying.
"Batgirl is such an exciting project, and Warners/DC
such collaborative and supportive partners, that it took me months to realize I really didn't have a story," Whedon said at the time.
DC Comics to Reveal the Secret of the Three Jokers
One of the biggest twists to come out of the DC Rebirth relaunch in 2016 is the reveal that there are actually three Jokers in the DC Universe. And nearly two years later, we finally have an inkling of how DC will follow up on that reveal.
At a Batman-themed C2E2 panel this past weekend, newly promoted Batman group editor Jamie S. Rich confirmed that writer Geoff Johns is indeed working on a new story to follow up on the Three Jokers reveal. Rich didn't give a title for the series or a potential release date, but he did reveal that artist Jason Fabok is currently drawing pages for the book. Fabok and Johns previously collaborated on Justice League: The Darkseid War in 2015.
The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Return Was Awesome…But Now He Needs to Retire for Real
A bit of business up front: If you haven't already, check out my full WrestleMania 34 live blog, results, and reaction piece-o-rama right here!
For people looking for more of an overall review statement, I thought 'Mania 34 was quite amazing. One of the most entertaining 'Manias in a while. I have severely mixed feelings about Asuka losing, but I'd much prefer it this way than her losing to Rousey. Or
Carmella, which I wouldn't put past them. The fact that it was a stellar match, maybe the best of the night, helped a great deal.
But I'm not here to mark out over Asuka though. I'm here to prattle off some feelings about the Undertaker's big return. Back in the first week of January, I wrote about why I felt Undertaker vs. Cena needed to happen. I needed closure. I wanted to have us all know, ahead of time, that we'd be seeing the Deadman's final appearance. He couldn't just lose to Roman and then hang up, or neatly set down, his garb and surprise us with a final bow.
