Street Fighter 5’s New Character, Falke, Goes Live Next Week
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is getting a new character named Falke next week.
As detailed on Capcom's recent blog post, Falke is coming on April 24 and will be available to purchase individually for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money, and is also part of the $29.99 Season 3 Character Pass. The pass includes Sakura, Blanka, Falke, Cody, G, and Sagat. You can check out Falke in action in the gameplay trailer below.
Falke was built to be an alternative clone for M. Bison and uses a staff called Harmony imbued with Psycho Power to fight her opponents. She also has a similar fighting style to Ed, requiring dual button presses to activate her specials. Visit Capcom's post for a more detailed look at Falke's special movies.
Why The Walking Dead Chose THAT Ending for Negan in the Season 8 Finale
This interview contains spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 8 finale, titled "Wrath."
The Walking Dead chose to end Season 8 with mercy prevailing over wrath, as Rick cut Negan's throat but still let him live during their climactic final showdown.
The eleventh-hour twist probably won't come as a surprise to fans of Robert Kirkman's comics, since the moment is virtually identical to how it played out on the page: just when it seems like Negan might be coming around to Rick's proposed peace treaty, Rick unexpectedly slashes his throat.
Incredibles 2 Took 14 Years to Make and it’s Kind of Marvel’s Fault
It’s been 14 years since The Incredibles introduced us to the best superhero family we’ve ever seen on the big screen (sorry, Fantastic Four), and considering how popular the Pixar comedy is, you may be wondering why it took so long to get the sequel, Incredibles 2, into production.
For writer-director Brad Bird, it all came down to story.
“The thing is, many sequels are cash grabs,” Bird told reporters during a recent press event to promote Incredibles 2. “There’s a saying in the business that I can’t stand, where they go, ‘if you don’t make another one, you’re leaving money on the table.’ It’s like, money on the table is not what makes me get up in the morning; making something that people are gonna enjoy a hundred years from now, that’s what gets me up. So if it were a cash grab, we would not have taken fourteen years – it makes no financial sense to wait this long – it’s purely
Kingdom Hearts 3 Mini-Games Unveiled
Kingdom Hearts III will feature a few mini-games inspired by 1980s-era LCD games and classic Mickey Mouse animated shorts.
Square Enix unveiled these Classic Kingdom mini-games in a new trailer, which you can view below. The footage shows Sora using a handheld device to play four games in particular: The Barnyard Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giantland, and Musical Farmer.
As you can see, the mini-games feature an old-school aesthetic similar to classic Nintendo Game and Watch titles. There's no word yet on how you unlock or access these mini-games, and if there will be more than just the four currently announced. They'll also be playable in the mobile RPG spinoff, Kingdom Hearts Union X.
No Man’s Sky Xbox One Release Date Leaked
Following the announcement that No Man's Sky would be coming to Xbox One this summer, the release date seems to have leaked in an online listing, dating the launch for June 29.
The Amazon Italy listing is priced at 50 euros and appears to have leaked the June 29 release date ahead of 505 Games' official confirmation.
It's unlikely the date is a generic placeholder, as the first day of summer this year falls on June 21.
The Xbox One version of the game was announced in March with a summer release window. The title will include all of the updates so far, and will feature Xbox One X HDR and 4K enhancements.
Final Fantasy 14 Companion App and New Story Quests Incoming
Final Fantasy 14 is getting a companion app alongside May's Under the Moonlight patch, with more content building on the Stormblood expansion.
Unfortunately the app isn't quite as snazzy as Final Fantasy 14 Online GO, the April Fool's Day prank app that promised to let players mine for materials by smashing their phones into trees and throwing them into rivers. The Final Fantasy 14 Online Companion App's features are far more humdrum but still super useful, letting players organise their inventory and armoury chest, use the scheduler to organise events, browse the market board and buy and sell items, chat with friends and Free Company members, and register an additional favoured destination Aetheryte.

Shenmue 1 & 2 pricing has been confirmed for the North American release, with players able to pick up the "definitive version" of both games for $29.99. It's also been confirmed the title will support achievements across all platforms.
YouTuber Adam Koralik shared the details on Twitter and in a video following his trip to SEGA in Japan. "I'm now allowed to inform you of the retail price of the Shenmue 1 and 2 rerelease," he tweeted. "$29.99 USD gets you the collection. Applies to all US versions. Global pricing will reflect similar pricing in local currencies."
EA: Battlefront 2’s Loot Box Controversy a ‘Learning Experience’
After the loot box controversy surrounding Star Wars Battlefront 2, EA's Patrick Söderlund has said the company has learned from "those mistakes," and promises to "be better" going forward.
"I’d be lying to you if I said that what’s happened with Battlefront and what’s happened with everything surrounding loot boxes and these things haven’t had an effect on EA as a company and an effect on us as management,” he said in an interview with The Verge. “We can shy away from it and pretend like it didn’t happen, or we can act responsibly and realise that we made some mistakes, and try to rectify those mistakes and learn from them.”
MechWarrior 5 Is a Symphony of Destruction
Do you like explosions? How about giant robot suits? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then boy do I have good news for you! We’ve got an in-depth look at how the long awaited MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will make things go boom in spectacular fashion. Be sure to check out the video above to see those explosions in motion.
Developer Piranha Games tells me that it’s going all out on making the damage you can deal in MechWarrior 5 look and feel amazing. Every one of its 50+ unique mech chassis has 11 different body parts —areas like the arms, legs, and head — Each of which then has three different visual damage states, so as they get individually battered, they’ll start visually breaking down and eventually breaking apart.
