Aquaman Director Shares Plot Details

Aquaman will tell a "Shakespearean story," according to director James Wan.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Wan shared plenty of new story details about the upcoming DC film at CinemaCon. Aquaman will focus on the conflict between the titular superhero (portrayed by Jason Momoa) and his brother, the villainous Orm (Patrick Wilson), a.k.a. Ocean Master. Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen) will also play some sort of a role in this rivalry.

“The main antagonist in this movie is Orm, played by Patrick Wilson,” Wan said. “And Black Manta, played by Yahya

, is caught up in that world with them as well. But the main drive really is, it’s almost a very classic Shakespearean story about brother from another world vs. brother from another world. And it really is a classic story of sibling rivalry.”

Martin announcing that the long-awaited, penultimate book in the massively-popular A Song of Ice and Fire series, The Winds of Winter, won't be released in 2018 really makes you think. We've now waited so long for this book, which we once thought would be the final novel in the saga, that... does it even matter if it comes out after HBO wraps up its Game of Thrones TV show in 2019?

Stardew Valley Publisher Reveals New Game

Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish revealed a new game today called Eastward. Developed by a small Shanghai-based indie game studio called Pixpil, Eastward is an adventure game set in a world on the verge of collapse, with RPG and dungeon-crawling elements and influences from '90s anime, The Legend of Zelda, and the Mother series. It's coming to PC and Mac, but has not been given a release date.

In Eastward, you control a worker named John, who has to guide a young girl named Sam through a series of dangerous cities. While Eastward is set in a decaying world with a slowly shrinking human population, the characters you do meet seem quirky and full of life.

See for yourself in Eastward's first ever trailer below:

The Best PS4 Games

If you’re just now picking up a PlayStation 4 or PS4 Pro, you’re in luck — there are a lot of fantastic games to play. So whether you’re just buying a system, or have owned once since the 2013 launch and are looking to play the greatest hits, these are the best 25 games you can play, as ranked by a group of our biggest and most knowledgeable PS4 fans.

Review scores factored into compiling this list, but the ranking takes many more aspects into account. The ways these games take advantage of the PS4, the design risks they’ve taken, the unique experiences, the influence they’ve had on the industry, and more all played a role in helping us narrow down the system’s wide library to just 25 games. (One caveat — we did not include PSVR games, as the intention of this list is to suggest what someone picking up just a PS4 or PS4 Pro console should play, and so we can't necessarily expect new buyers will have a PSVR setup.)
