Last Update: June 2018
Your television's picture might be top of the line, but without a soundbar, you won't be getting the full experience. There’s one truth about the vast majority of flat-panel televisions: the sound they offer is terrible. But it isn’t the television’s fault; they’re doing the best they can. The odds are stacked against them.
The Internet Thinks Inglorious Basterds’ Diane Kruger Is the Female Lead in Death Stranding
We don't know much about Death Stranding, but what we do know is that the game will feature a female protagonist, and the internet is speculating that the heroine might just be Inglorious Basterds' Diane Kruger.
YouTuber YongYea has rounded up all of the clues pointing toward Kruger as the likely candidate, and here's a summation of the trail of breadcrumbs fans have followed:
The first supposed clue is that the actress can speak both French and German, as well as English, and the setting from the second trailer hints at France with the World War 2 era utility poles, and German being the spoken language that can be heard as the soldiers pass over the bridge. The link is somewhat tenuous but the actress would be more than capable of speaking either of these languages.
The Best and Worst TV Revivals
With retro-vertigo in full swing and everything old becoming new again, it's time to look at some of the best (and worst) TV show revivals.
With Roseanne circling back to ABC on March 27th, and the entire cast returning to the fold after almost 30 years, it seems as though networks are looking more to the past for potential modern-era hits. Will & Grace just found its way back to NBC after 11 years away, American Idol took a few years off before switching from FOX to ABC, and CBS has five-time Emmy winner Candice Bergen coming back for a new Murphy Brown series.
Keep in mind, we're looking at revivals here. So what's the difference between a revival and - say - a reboot? Well, a revival is the show coming back with all, or most, of the original cast intact (if not, in the very least, the lead roles). It's a years-later sequel featuring the actors you once loved playing the roles you loved them in. A reboot is, well, not that.
Over 1 Million People Watched a Fortnite Stream on YouTube
Last night, over one million people tuned in to watch a Fortnite stream from Spanish YouTuber elrubius.
YouTube's Alex Rubens confirmed on Twitter roughly 1.1 million people watched the stream, which was part of a larger event organized by elrubius that gathered 100 of the top Spanish-speaking Fortnite streamers.
While elrubius' stream brought in 1.1 million viewers, even more people watched the other 99 participants' streams as well. So, the overall viewer count is presumably much higher. Eurogamer notes the event was just for fun, as no prizes were on offer. If you haven't already, you can watch the stream here.
Amazon’s 10 Best Shows NOT Made By Amazon
Amazon Prime Video has a great selection of original programming like Sneaky Pete and The Man in the High Castle, but the streaming provider also gives viewers other notable series to watch that Amazon did not produce. The total number of shows Amazon has acquired the rights to over the years is vast, so we decided to narrow it down to the 10 best shows currently available in the U.S. that you can stream right now. Let us know in the comments if we left out any of your favorites.
Please note: This list pertains to U.S. Amazon Prime subscribers. Some titles may not currently be available on international platforms.

Love In the Time of Infinity War Isn’t Easy for Scarlet Witch and Vision
Scarlet Witch and the Vision met in Avengers: Age of Ultron, they made a deeper connection in Captain America: Civil War, and in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War their blossoming romance will face the ultimate test.
Thanos wants to destroy half the life in the universe, and to do that he needs to collect all six Infinity Stones, one of which gave Vision life and is currently embedded in his forehead. That means if Thanos completes his quest to get all Infinity Stones, it will presumably also mean Vision’s death. While the other Avengers are fighting to save the universe, these two heroes are fighting for their love.
On a visit to the Atlanta set of Infinity War, we saw a scene being filmed where the Avengers had just landed in Wakanda and were being greeted by King T’Challa. However, Vision had been wounded and was clutching his side and leaning on Scarlet Witch for support. From what we can piece together, earlier in the movie Vision was skewered by a member of the Black Order when they attempted to rip out his Infinity Stone, meaning that the couple’s love is literally on the line. Failing to stop Thanos will surely mean that Vision is toast.
Stranger Things: First Season 3 Details Revealed
The first details about Stranger Things' third season have emerged, including that Season 3 will take place one year after Season 2.
On the red carpet before a panel at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday night, executive producer Shawn Levy announced Season 3 is set during the summer of 1985, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), as well as Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) will be couples at the start of the season.
"Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that's a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas," Levy said. "But again, they're like 13- or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there's fun to that instability."
Mark Hamill Reveals Ending to George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode 9
Mark Hamill has revealed elements of the ending for George Lucas' abandoned Star Wars: Episode 9.
Warning: Spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi follow.
Speaking to IGN about the differences in approach to the character of Luke Skywalker between J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson, Hamill suddenly changed tack, and explained:
"I happen to know that George didn't kill Luke until the end of
9, after he trained Leia. Which is another thread that was never played upon
."
This is the first time we've heard that Lucas intended to end the 'Skywalker Saga' with Luke's death. While the original Extended Universe saw Leia trained as a Jedi Knight (although not by Luke), it also hadn't been publicly mooted as part of the films' storyline.
