Friday the 13th Dev Reveals Theft of Exclusive In-Game Content
A spokesperson for Friday the 13th: The Game developer Gun Media has responded to accusations that Kickstarter backer-exclusive content is being sold via eBay, saying these codes have been sold as the result of "a theft at one of our distribution partners."
A Reddit user wrote a thread detailing what they alleged to be improperly sold codes for Kickstarter-exclusive content. User JasonThrowaway13 found codes being sold by an eBay account. Noticing the shipping location and an alleged email account associated with this eBay profile, JasonThrowaway13 alleged that possibly a member of either the Gun Media team, the game's distributor Limited Run games, or one of their partners, was taking codes for this exclusive content and selling them online.
We React to all the new Switch Announcements – NVC
Weeelcooome to episode 393 of our weekly Nintendo show and podcast, Nintendo Voice Chat. Filip's gone missing (something about playing with cardboard), but that doesn't stop Peer, Chloi, Brian, Zach, and Lily to talk about the biggest Nintendo news, including the new Mario movie and Mario Kart mobile announcements, and Nintendo's 2017 performance and sales records. In the second part of the show, Chloi joins to chat about new Switch releases, including why you shouldn't miss Night in the Woods.
As always, you can watch NVC here on IGN and on our YouTube channel (subscribe and hit that bell! It gives fairies wings!) or listen to it on your commute in audio format. If you enjoy the show, share it with other Nintendo fans, leave us a comment, and give us a thumbs up or leave us a review! If you prefer audio over video,
Nintendo Labo Hands-On: Ap-Parent Benefits
Just like Nintendo's biggest franchises (Zelda, Mario, and Pokémon) Nintendo Labo and the “Toy-Con” deserve all the attention it’s inevitably going to receive.
My eight-year-old son Keegan and I had the opportunity to go hands-on with each of the five Toy-Con included in the Variety Kit at a Labo event in New York: the RC Car, Fishing Rod, House, Motorbike, and Piano - as well the highly sophisticated stand-alone Robot Kit. After being asked to create our own personalized Labo nametags, Keegan and I took our seats at our designated building area - which was complete with an assortment of colorful markers, pencils, and stickers for us to decorate our Toy-Con creations with.
The Best of Superman’s Many Origin Stories
Even if you’ve never read a Superman comic, the odds are high that you know his origin story. It seems details about the Man of Steel are ingrained in our collective psyche, from John Williams’ classic theme to the old “Faster than a speeding bullet” narration and beyond. We know all about Superman, where he came from, his tendency to get weak in the knees for Lois Lane or green rocks, the ability of a pair of spectacles to hide a superhero and so on. His origin is part of our American culture.
However, this mythology isn’t as cut and dry as you might think. Over Superman’s 80-year history, some of the finest comics creators have explored his origin and added their own touches to his vast legacy. And the latest writer to bring his own spin to Kal-El is superstar writer Brian Michael Bendis, who’ll take the reins of the Kryptonian with Action Comics #1,000 in April and then continue in the pages of his six-issue miniseries Man of Steel starting in May. Where Bendis will take the character has yet to be fully revealed; it’s got to be a daunting task. Superman’s impact and legacy is rich, but so is Bendis’ status as a comic book visionary. But he has promised some major changes to the character’s status quo -- while staying true to the heart of what makes Superman so ubiquitous and beloved.

New Power Ranger to Debut in Shattered Grid Event
A new Power Ranger will debut in the Shattered Grid comic book crossover event that will see every Power Ranger ever team up together to fight the evil Lord Drakkon.
Take a look at the teaser image:
Art by Dan Mora. (BOOM! Studios/Saban Brands)
As you can see, the image of the Power Ranger is little more than a silhouette at the epicenter of a fiery explosion, but the caped figure does appear to be female. The identity of this Power Ranger will remain a mystery until Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #9, out in April, but to tide us over until then, writers Ryan Parrott and Kyle Higgins offered us a few clues.
