The Most Expensive War in EVE Online’s History Could Happen Today

Two of EVE Online's largest factions are gearing up for war, with fleets of titan class warships worth more than $1 million ready to do battle. If they pull the trigger, this will be the most costly war to have been waged in the game's history.

PCGamesN reports that the remnants of The Imperium alliance spent the last year in an arms race with the Moneybadger Coalition (formerly the CFC), who gave them a sound thrashing in 2016, with total losses in the region of $300,000.

Snowpiercer TV Series Loses Showrunner

TNT's Snowpiercer TV series has lost showrunner Josh Friedman.

Variety reports Friedman, who wrote the pilot and was an executive producer on the show, left the project because of creative differences with TNT. No word yet on how this'll impact the show, especially considering TNT already gave a series order to Snowpiercer last month.

The pilot, shot last year, is directed by Doctor Strange's Scott Derrickson but is yet to have a premiere date. Snowpiercer is based on director Bong Joon Ho's 2013 film of the same name, which follows a group of people inhabiting a perpetually moving train in a post-apocalyptic setting. The series stars Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, and Benjamin Haigh.

Watch the First Trailer for the Norse Open-World RPG Rune: Ragnarok

We’ve got an early look at the first trailer for Rune: Ragnarok, an open-world RPG set in a dangerous Norse world. Watch the trailer above to see it in action.

Rune: Ragnarok is the long-awaited sequel to developer Human Head Studios’ original action RPG Rune, which released in 2000. The sequel pits you against Loki and an army of Norse Mythological gods and beasts in what looks like fairly brutal combat - The end of the trailer is particularly gory, with one character beating another with his own, severed arm. Ouch.

Rune: Ragnarok is planning to have an beta later this year, and is currently taking sign-ups on its website for a chance to get in early.
