IGN can exclusively confirm Aegis Defenders will debut on Feb. 8 on the Switch, PS4, and PC. Check out the Switch and release date announcement trailer below.
Aegis Defenders centers on a society where players control a team of Ruinhunters, who embark on a quest to save their village by finding a powerful weapon known as Aegis. The game is split into 2D exploration, tower building, and defense phases. The exploration phases consist in open areas players, either alone or with friends, can navigate, though a heavy emphasis is placed on the game’s narrative and characters.

The 10 Best Teen Titans Go! Episodes
As Teen Titans Go! to the Movies hits theaters, it's time to look back at the show from which it was spawned! For fans of the Cartoon Network's popular Teen Titans Go! cartoon, the feature-length adaption is reason for excitement.
If you aren't familiar with Teen Titans Go!, the 15-minute program focuses on the misadventures of the characters from DC's Teen Titans team from the comics. The Titans consist of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. In previous iterations, the Titans dealt with angst and real emotions while getting in stylized fights with various villains. But the candy-colored Titans of Teen Titans Go! eat pizza and engage in goofy, random humor where they run around all silly and stuff. It's a delightful and frequently funny cartoon, and not all that long ago it celebrated its 200th episode in a fittingly meta, self-indulgent style.

Torchwood’s Cast Reuniting for New Audio Adventure, Believe
A Torchwood reunion is coming, reuniting the five members of the show's original cast for a new audio play called Believe.
Digital Spy reports that John Barrowman and co. will come together for the audio drama, slated for release in April.
“It’s been ten years since there's been an adventure featuring Jack, Gwen, Ianto, Tosh and Owen, and coming up with something big enough – and complex enough – to need them was great fun," said writer Guy Adams.
According to the synopsis, "The Church of the Outsiders believe that mankind is about to evolve, to reach out into the stars. Owen Harper believes that Torchwood has to do whatever it takes to stop them."
Next Dragon Age Will Be a ‘Live’ Game
Bioware's Casey Hudson has said that the in-development Dragon Age game will be a "live" experience, which "means designing a game for continued storytelling after the main story."
Speaking on Twitter, Hudson confirmed that the game will remain "story
character focused", but added the idea of it being "live" afterwards.
Reading lots of feedback regarding Dragon Age, and I think you’ll be relieved to see what the team is working on. Story & character focused.
Too early to talk details, but when we talk about “live” it just means designing a game for continued storytelling after the main story.

The game makes the announcement as part of players' Daily Login Bonus - see a screenshot below:
Ubisoft Introduces Loot Boxes Into Ghost Recon: Wildlands
In the midst of the ongoing loot box controversy, Ubisoft has waded in and rolled out paid-for loot boxes in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Before we get too worked up, it's worth noting that the items inside them have no effect on gameplay stats, and are cosmetic items for character customisation. Phew!
The Ubisoft blog explains that the new Battle Crates - available in the Extended Ops update today - will be divided into loot boxes for the campaign and co-op mode (Spec Ops Crates) and boxes for the Ghost War mode (Ghost War Crates). All crate types will "have zero impact on gameplay and player’s progression, and will be "fair in terms of the items given to players."
Nintendo to Shut Down Miitomo in May
Nintendo's first smartphone app, Miitomo is set to close on May 9, just over two years after it launched.
From that date, the social media app will no longer allow you to use any features, or see your own saved messages or Miifotos. Your Miitomo Mii can be saved by linking Miitomo with your Nintendo Account, but any sidekick Mii characters will be deleted.
Miitomo's paid currency ceased being sold yesterday, but players will be given them as daily login bonuses so that they can continue using the shop and Miitomo drop features until the shutdown.
No reasoning has been given for the shutdown, but it's most likely because of a drop-off of users. Miitomo garnered 10 million users in the app's first month available.
