Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Plot Details Revealed
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to receive its first trailer this week, and we've learned a few plot details ahead of that first full look at the sequel.
If you want to know absolutely nothing about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom before release, this is your last chance to turn back from whence you came.
As per EW, Fallen Kingdom will seem to focus more on saving dinosaurs than on running away from them - at least at first.
Set several years after Jurassic World, a dormant volcano has become active on Isla Nublar, and threatens to wipe out the remaining dino population. Returning lead Claire Dearing is determined not to let that happen.
3 New Shadowverse: Chronogenesis Cards Revealed
Cygames recently announced the next Shadowverse card set – Chronogenesis. It will have 138 new cards, which is significantly more than normal, because in addition to each existing class getting 12 cards each, the new class that's being introduced, Portalcraft, will be getting a whopping 42 cards, in order to help kickstart its collection. A new class? Yep, and that’s just one of the massive changes coming with Chronogenesis.
Chronogenesis' release on December 28 will also see formats introduced to Shadowverse: Rotation, in which the last five sets plus the small number of Basic cards for each class will be allowed, and Unlimited, in which any cards can be played.
These are huge changes, and I’m going to deep dive on Portalcraft, the introduction of formats and the new set in three separate upcoming features, so stay tuned. (You can also read my analysis of the “Shadowverse Next” announcement here if you want more info in the interim.) Today, though, IGN has three new cards – all Bloodcraft - to reveal for you guys, and they’re not only cool, but showcase one of Chronogenesis’ new mechanics, and have some interesting potential synergies with one another. Orc Pit Fighting Comes to Shadow of War
Competitive orc fighting has finally come to Middle-earth: Shadow of War. You can take your orcs, train them up, and enter them into fights against other players online.
The free update to Middle-earth: Shadow of War is available now. Letting your orcs square off against the orcs of other online players could net you "powerful rewards and upgrades" you can use in-game to strengthen your orc army.
Earning those rewards is dependent on whether or not your orcs are able to win, like at the end of Rocky IV, or lose, like at the end of Rocky I.
The update is free to anyone who owns Shadow of War, and is one of 5 free Shadow of War updates rolling out. The next and final of the announced free updates adds a new difficulty level "even more challenging then Nemesis," is set to release next week.
Why Is Wolverine Hosting a Podcast?
Wolverine is always telling us how he's the best there is at what he does, but we never guessed that what he does is host podcasts. But that's the takeaway today, as Marvel announced (via Mashable) that Wolverine will be the star of the company's first scripted podcast.
Dubbed Wolverine: The Long Night, this 10-episode series features an original storyline written by Benjamin Percy (Green Arrow) and starring Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) as the voice of the titular X-Man. The series will focus on a group of investigators (voiced by Celia Keenan-Bolger, Ato Essandoh and Andrew Keenan-Bolger) trying to solve a series of murders in rural Alaska. Naturally, Wolverine becomes their prime suspect.
Marvel’s Runaways: How ‘Jonah’ Compares to Doctor Doom
Warning: Spoilers for Marvel's Runaways up through Episode 5, "Kingdom."
On this week's episode of Marvel's Runaways (catch our review of "Kingdom" here), which airs exclusively on Hulu, Nip/Tuck's Julian McMahon debuted as a mysterious man named Jonah - an imposing supernatural figure who's most likely the key to the entire mystery, and the reason Pride sacrifices one poor unfortunate soul per year.
This isn't the first time McMahon's played a nefarious Marvel character before, having portrayed Doctor Doom in both Fantastic Four movies. When I had the chance to speak to him about Runaways, I asked how Jonah stacked up against Doom, the character's new lease on life, and his worries about meeting Virginia Gardner's Karolina.

Marvel Ends Guardians of the Galaxy Comic
Marvel Comics has revealed that their ongoing Guardians of the Galaxy series is ending as of January's issue #150.
Rumblings of a cancellation first surfaced when Marvel's February 2018 solicitations hit online without Guardians of the Galaxy #151 in the lineup. Today writer Gerry Duggan confirmed that cancellation on Twitter, saying "Folks, Guardians Of The Galaxy IS wrapping at #150, but it's because I pitched a story to @Marvel that was way bigger than just Guardians. HUGE stories are coming your way beginning in February. More soon."

Google Reportedly Pulling YouTube From Amazon FireTV
It looks like Google will be removing the YouTube app again from Amazon's Echo Show and FireTV devices.
TechCrunch reports the move is due to an ongoing conflict between the two companies, which led to Google removing YouTube from the Alexa-powered Echo Show earlier this year when the app lacked expected features.
The YouTube app was reinstated a few weeks ago, but sources tell TechCrunch this was an act Amazon worked on behind Google's back. The new app also overlays voice controls, which Google says violates the company's Terms of Service.
