Luke Skywalker Returns to the Millennium Falcon
Disney and LucasFilm have unveiled another brief glimpse at Star Wars: The Last Jedi, debuting a fresh TV spot for the next chapter in the Star Wars saga during Game 7 of the Major League Baseball World Series in the US.
You can view the spot yourself here.
The short, 45-second teaser is largely built from snippets of the film we've already seen in previous trailers, although there are a few new shots, including a lingering one of a slightly-spellbound Luke Skywalker reentering the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. The TV spot also reiterated Luke's perturbing line from the previous trailer: "This is not going to go the way you think."
Shadowverse Is Introducing Portalcraft: A Whole New Class
Shadowverse developer Cygames today dropped some absolutely huge news for fans of its anime-flavoured CCG. Shadowverse Producer Yuito Kimura announced that alongside the next expansion – the game’s 7th set of cards – Shadowverse will be introducing formats to constructed play, as well as a whole new class – Portalcraft.
The two formats for constructed will be Rotation and Unlimited. Rotation will include all cards released in the five latest card sets, as well as select basic cards, and the total card pool will be around 500. That may sound like a lot, but if you consider that the game’s sixth card set, Starforged Legends, which was released at the end of September, brought the total number of cards to over 900, which means that the next set, which will hit at the end of the year, will bring the total pool to more than 1000, the number seems a lot smaller.
Tyrese Gibson Threatens to Quit Furious Franchise if Dwayne Johnson Is in Fast 9

Gibson proceeded to refer to Johnson as a “clown” and a “selfish champ.”
Gibson’s anger at Johnson is linked to the upcoming Fast & Furious spin-off in the pipe for Johnson and Jason Statham, due to hit theatres July 26, 2019. In a previous Instagram post Gibson admitted that he “was just mad that

Every Major Alien Race in the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (or MCU, for short) is getting bigger all the time. Characters like Thor, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange are exploring new worlds and dimensions on a regular basis, and along the way they are encountering new species of intelligent alien life which are at turns beautiful, frightening, and downright silly. And now, with Thor: Ragnarok hitting theaters, the MCU is poised to get even bigger.
With the Marvel movie-verse expanding at this rate, it’s going to be pretty hard for some of the more casual fans of the series to keep up. That’s why we’ve compiled this handy-dandy guide to the most prominent, or at least most visible, alien species we have encountered so far on these travels. Some are important characters, some are side creations. Some have distinctive characteristics and cultures, some are the result of filling in the blanks between the movies and the comics. But they all make the MCU a fascinating place to visit and (we assume) to live. Check them all out below…
Avengers: Infinity War Is Like a Heist Film, Says Director
The directors of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War have said that their upcoming movie is a heist film.
In an interview with CNET, directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that Infinity War borrows heavily from the heist film genre with the introduction of Thanos as a main character.
"With "Infinity War," the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he's entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he's almost one of the leads. We've shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he's going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them,
Why Josh Duhamel Doesn’t Think Call of Duty Needs a Movie
The Call of Duty franchise is a behemoth in the video game world, with some of the most significant sales in the business. Its sprawling multiplayer mixed with compelling stories seems like the perfect place to spawn a cinematic universe, just like Marvel or DC. Back in 2015, the Activision Blizzard Studios was created for such a purpose, with plans to not only develop movies but a television series as well.
All of this appears to be a good idea from the business side of things, but actor Josh Duhamel (Transformers), who will be voicing Sergeant Pierson in the upcoming Call of Duty: WW2 game, thinks a movie franchise might not be a necessity.
Disney Sets Steep Conditions for Theaters to Show Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Disney has set some steep conditions for theaters to abide by if they want to show the latest in the epic sci-fi saga Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The Wall Street Journal reports (via Gizmodo) that Disney has upped its take in the usual revenue share of ticket sales from the Hollywood standard 55 to 65 percent.
Along with this increase which is reported to be "a new benchmark", Disney is also demanding theaters reserve the largest auditorium exclusively for The Last Jedi for at least four weeks.
