Everything From Planet Hulk Not In Thor: Ragnarok
While Thor: Ragnarok is ostensibly the third entry in the Thor franchise, it's as much a Hulk movie as it is a Thor movie. Ragnarok borrows heavily from the comic book storyline Planet Hulk, which followed the Jade Giant as he was exiled to the Planet Sakaar and became an intergalactic gladiator and freedom fighter.
But as much as Ragnarok draws from that source material, there are some pretty major differences in how the two stories play out. Here's everything from the original Planet Hulk story that didn't make the cut.
Like most MCU movies, Thor: Ragnarok is crammed full of references to all sorts of Marvel characters and stories. Check out the most memorable cameos below:
Arrowverse: Wentworth Miller Exiting Captain Cold Role
Wenworth Miller will no longer portray Captain Cold on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
Miller announced the news on Instagram, revealing he's currently filming his last episodes as Leonard Snart (a.k.a. Captain Cold). However, Miller did not reveal the exact reasons behind his departure.
“Currently shooting some of my final episodes as “Captain Cold/Leonard Snart," Miller wrote. "Grateful - now and in advance - to a pair of talented casts and hardworking crews. Thank you. I've had a tremendous time playing this character. It’s been an opportunity, an education, and a f***ing blast.”
Miller first played Captain Cold in the first season of The Flash. The actor then became a series regular on the first season of Legends of Tomorrow. After briefly exiting the series after Season 1, Miller has since reappeared multiple times on the show as a series regular once again. The CW announced him as one of several familiar faces set to appear in recurring guest roles during Legends' third season.
