Factor 5 Would Love to See Rogue Squadron on Switch
Star Wars Rogue Leaders: Rogue Squadron for Wii never saw release, but that doesn't mean the game is gone and forgotten. In fact, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht told us he'd be thrilled to see the game come to Nintendo Switch.
The original game was a compilation featuring modified versions of Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader and Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rebel Strike running on a new graphics engine at 60 fps, as well as other content.
"It's something in some way, shape, or form, should definitely come out of the archives," he told us during an episode of our Nintendo podcast NVC.
Eggebrecht told us the reasons for the games cancellation "should be out of the way nowadays."

Future Man EP Seth Rogen on Relatable Video Game Heroes
Future Man executive producer Seth Rogen has a lot to say about his and Evan Goldberg's new action comedy series coming to Hulu. The series about janitor and world-ranked gamer Josh Futturman (Josh Hutcherson) being recruited by warriors from the future to help save the world has legs in action and comedy, but also in science fiction and a little bit of drama.
"When I watch it, it's completely unlike anything I've seen on television before. I hope people think that's a good thing. Or they'll just be like, 'What the f**k did these people do?'"
Nailing the tone has been tricky for Rogen. He told IGN an important thing for this series is how it needs to have a lot of stakes to it while being funny. Future Man is a comedy, yes, but it has what Rogen calls a "real" plot, meaning it's serialized. "We're not the first people to have done it
10 Original Xbox Games We Want Backward Compatible
This year, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One and Xbox One X are now compatible with original Xbox games, not just Xbox 360 ones. Thirteen games have been announced for the program, including fan-favourites like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Ninja Gaiden: Black, but it got us thinking - what else might be on the way? Here are the 10 original Xbox games we’d love to play on Xbox One.
Known for crazy detailed, cel-shaded animation and awesome music, Jet Set Radio Future was one of the coolest original Xbox titles, with so, so much style. Most of what you actually do is graffiti over other people’s tags, but to do that, you’ve gotta rollerblade through an alluring, futuristic version of Tokyo where freedom of expression isn’t allowed. Sometimes, that even takes you across the back of a 200-foot dragon, because why not?
Nintendo Switch Production to Increase Significantly in 2018
Nintendo is reportedly planning to make between 25 and 30 million Switch consoles in 2018.
Beginning in April, the start of the next fiscal year, Nintendo will significantly ramp up production of the popular handheld/console hybrid, and has already informed some of its business partners, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The plan is still in its early stages, and Nintendo intends to monitor holiday sales closely and make necessary adjustments in the event demand merits a further increase in the number of units it plans to produce.
The Switch released this past March, and between then and the end of September, Nintendo reportedly sold 7.63 million units. The company plans to sell an additional 9.1 million units by March of next year, according to its October quarterly earnings report. If Nintendo meets that goal, total Switch sales would be almost 17 million units.
Disney Streaming Service May Signal End of Marvel-Netflix Shows
Disney's upcoming streaming service may be the end of Marvel shows on Netflix, according to a new report.
Back in August the media juggernaut announced its plans to launch a streaming service in 2019, starting in the U.S. and then expanding coverage worldwide. At the time, they confirmed Disney and Pixar titles would be removed from Netflix. Disney currently produces Marvel series like Daredevil, The Punisher, and others, but new Marvel shows are expected to be exclusive to the Disney streaming service, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The 10 Best Family Board Games
Family board game nights are a great way to spend an evening bonding with loved ones. But it can be tricky to select a family game that's deep but still accessible, and fun for both kids and adults. Over the last couple of decades, designer board games have skyrocketed in popularity and complexity. Today, it’s not uncommon for games to take several hours to learn and play. That kind of commitment can be tough for family game nights when time is precious. It’s a good thing then that there are plenty of immensely clever games out there that take mere minutes to learn, and yet have enough meat on their cardboard bones to appease the strategy-hungry among us.
For family game night theme must also be considered. It may not be appropriate for younger players to blast zombies in Zombicide, and the dry renaissance setting of something like The Princes of Florence may bore some. They're both great games, but not for everyone. There are plenty of more lively and exciting themes out there, though, like giant monster fights and high speed car racing. All it takes is a bit of research.

Runways, which is off to a promising start (based on the pilot episode that screened at NYCC), will focus not just on the teen angst of the protagonists, but also the lives of the parents - played by the likes of James Marsters, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, and Angel Parker - who are the presumed villains of the piece.
