Cuphead ‘Guaranteed’ to Return, Developer Says
Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer have confirmed we haven't seen the last of the iconic protagonist of Studio MDHR's boss-heavy run and gun action game.
"Guaranteed you'll see Cuphead at some point," Jared replied on the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered when asked if Cuphead was a one-and-done thing.
"But as far as what are our plans, what are we distinctly doing next, there's been zero time to really breathe or think," Jared added before Chad chimed in to note they "would have had two 30-minute chats about the future."
Cuphead was released for Xbox One and PC on September 29 and sold one million copies within its first two weeks. For our thoughts on Studio MDHR's lovingly crafted Microsoft-exclusive action game, read IGN's Cuphead review.

Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Coming to Tekken 7
Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum will join Tekken 7 as a playable fighter in spring 2018.
Bandai Namco released a trailer that showcases Noctis battling against various members of the Tekken 7 roster, with his iconic Engine Blade in hand. Check out the video in the player above to see the crown prince of Lucis in action.
Noctis isn't the only post-launch addition to the Tekken 7 roster. Earlier this year, it was announced that the iconic SNK fighter Geese Howard, from the Fatal Fury series, is coming to Tekken 7 this winter.
Tekken 7 was released earlier this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For our thoughts on why the latest entry in Bandai Namco's popular fighting franchise "is a hallmark fighting game that's both accessible and highly technical," read IGN's Tekken 7 review.
Walking Dead: How THAT Tragedy Compares to Comics
Full spoilers for The Walking Dead continue below. Make sure to read IGN's review of "Some Guy."
Four episodes into The Walking Dead's eighth season and we've come back around to a memorable moment from Robert Kirkman's comic series - a failed assault and the death of Shiva, who rushed into a swarm of zombies in order to save Ezekiel's life.
The season started out mirroring the "All Out War" arc from the comics, but then did its own thing for a few chapters - including the return of Season 1's Morales. Now, after weeks of winning (and smiling), the King has fallen on hard times, losing just about every member of his squad (except Jerry and Carol) along with his precious pet. Let's see how things went down in the comics compared to the scenes in this week's "Some Guy."
Bond Franchise Reportedly Finds New Domestic Distributor
MGM is reportedly teaming up with Annapurna for the domestic release of James Bond 25.
As reported by Deadline, the deal should be finalized this week. Annapurna's Erik Lomis and Marc Weinstock will handle domestic distribution and marketing, respectively, with the oversight of MGM's Gary Barber and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
This isn't the first time Lomis and Weinstock have been involved with the Bond franchise. Weinstock handled marketing for a couple of the Bond movies while he was at Sony Pictures, and Lomis was previously involved with distribution at MGM.
Jack Black Hilariously Revisits a Classic With ‘School of Ragnarok’
Jack Black is a funny dude who also appreciates the finer moments of hard rocking, so when he saw Thor Ragnarok was using Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song, he was quick to throw down a challenge. Black sang the song in School of Rock, so the challenge is known as School of Ragnarok.
In a video posted to his personal Instagram, the comedic actor and one-half of the rock duo Tenacious D, Black challenged Thor star Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi.
"I'm calling you out, Thor!" he says in the video. "This is a challenge! I challenge you to a battle... a battle of the jams!"
To show how serious he is about the screaming rock anthem that is The Immigrant Song, Black posted a video of himself and The House With a Clock In Its Walls co-star Cate Blanchett doing their own Ragnarok-inspired take on the set of the new movie.
Thor: Ragnarok Remains Box Office Champ in 2nd Weekend
Thor: Ragnarok held strong in first place during its second weekend at the North American box office, earning an estimated $56.6 million.
Marvel Studios' latest, which had the fourth-largest opening of 2017 last weekend, now has a domestic total of $211.6 million, eclipsing the earnings of the first Thor movie and Thor: The Dark World. Additionally, Ragnarok's global total now stands at $650 million, making it the twelfth consecutive film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to soar past the $500 million mark in worldwide earnings.
Meanwhile, this weekend brought with it the debut of Daddy's Home 2, which placed second with an estimated $30 million, and received an "A-" CinemaScore from moviegoers. The Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg-led Christmas comedy's opening weekend didn't quite reach the heights of the original film, which debuted in 2015 to $38.7 million.
