SOMA Xbox One Release Date Revealed
Developer Frictional Games is bringing its horror game SOMA to Xbox One early next month on December 1.
SOMA originally released for PlayStation 4 and PC in October 2015 and it's now finally getting an Xbox One port. Additionally, the game is also receiving a new "Safe Mode," which is an optional way to play SOMA without having to worry about evading hostile enemies, letting you enjoy the story.
"Safe Mode" will also launch on the PC version of the game on December 1, with the update coming sometime later on PS4. Check out the Xbox One teaser for the game below.
SOMA takes place on an underwater remote research facility called PATHOS-II. Protagonist Simon Jarrett mysteriously finds himself in the facility and must uncover the secrets behind PATHOS-II and why he was brought there.

The options available are in the gallery below, with descriptions below of each beneath:

Mob B, The Monster of the Night Skies - a flying, "manta-ray-like" monster which targets players who haven't slept.
Skyrim for Switch Supports Video Capture
Skyrim for Nintendo Switch comes with a patch that enables built-in video capture support.
As reported over at Vooks, a Day One patch lets players save the last 30 seconds of gameplay by just holding down the screenshot button.
If 30 seconds sounds too short for you, good news - Nintendo may be planning on extending the recording time, once they've gauged gamers' response and all first-party titles support the feature.
The feature is relatively new to the Switch, arriving on the console just last month. It's also still relatively rare in Switch games.

EA Takes Star Wars Battlefront II Microtransactions Offline
As Star Wars Battlefront II launches, the ability to purchase crystals, the sequel's in-game currency, for in-game microtransactions, is currently unavailable for players, and EA has confirmed that it has pulled microtransactions from the game temporarily.
(Updated with EA's statement)
Hours ahead of the game's launch in North America and after its launch in other territories, EA has confirmed that crystals cannot be purchased any longer to use toward in-game crates, which include Star Cards, emotes, and other resources. Instead, all progression in multiplayer will be accomplished via gameplay. Crystals used for microtransactions will be re-implemented at a later date.

New rumors state that Jake Gyllenhaal might replace Ben Affleck as Batman in upcoming DC films.
Affleck has stated his desire to make a cool exit from playing the character, and if he does so before The Batman, movie pundit John Campea says director Matt Reeves has his eyes set on Jake Gyllenhaal as his first pick to don the cape and cowl (via Screen Rant.)
Initially Campea said Reeves had an idea of who might replace Affleck as Batman, only now clarifying that Gyllenhaal is who the director had in mind.
Overwatch’s Latest Character Moira Is Now Available
Support healer Moira is now available to play in Blizzard's Overwatch.
The new hero is playable on Xbox One, PC, and PS4, according to the official Overwatch Twitter.
Moira is described as a "brilliant geneticist," but one who "pursues scientific discovery unburdened by ethics." Moira was revealed at BlizzCon 2017 at the start of the month.
While Moira's primary role is as a healer, she can also deliver a fair amount of damage. Her Fade ability lets her teleport around the battlefield. When she isn't Fade-ing, she Naruto-runs through the action.
Yes, Rampage Is Based on a Video Game
The Rock's next blockbuster is pretty literal, with giant monsters busting city blocks in downtown Chicago. And in case you were unaware, the movie is based on a video game. And like other big-screen adaptations, it plays pretty fast and loose with the source material.
Rampage, the game, was released into arcades in 1986 by Bally Midway and featured three different monsters climbing, and destroying, buildings. The game starts out in Peoria, Illinois and charts a path of destruction across the United States over the course of 128 days. Gameplay is pretty straight-forward: just punch the crap out of buildings until they collapse into rubble.
From what is shown in the trailer, the movie takes the basics: giant monsters, smashing buildings, and fills it out a little to make it into a movie. The game was a clear homage to monster movies, with a King Kong stand-in and a kaiju-come-lately. But the movie deviates from the monsters in their origins.
Justice League Skins Coming to Injustice 2
To celebrate the release of DC's latest superhero flick, Justice League skins and events are coming to Injustice 2.
The content will be available in console and mobile versions of the Warner Bros. fighter. Players will be able to obtain costumes for Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg, inspired by their film appearances.
Players will need to complete special limited-time Multiverse challenges to earn the gear, and in a wink to the powers of the speedster, The Flash's event is the first to arrive. It is live now and features four pieces of armor for Flash.
The latest update for Injustice 2 added the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Enchantress to the roster. Justice League hits theaters tomorrow, so check out our review before you go.
