New footage from the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi gives us a better look into the dynamic between Luke and his former student.

The new TV spot for The Last Jedi premiered on ComicBook.com and after the 1-minute mark, re-runs a spot we've seen before. But in the lead-up, we get a tantalizing glimpse at some new footage interspersed with previously revealed looks.

If you haven't seen The Force Awakens, first off, remedy that, and secondly, spoilers for the two-year old movie follow.

This teaser shows Wolverine, Star-Lord and Captain Marvel each holding one of the six Infinity Stones (Power for Star-Lord, Space for Wolverine and Reality for Captain Marvel). This new storyline will apparently revolve around the hunt for the other three Stones. It's a safe bet that Thanos or another cosmic Marvel villain will be standing in their way. And the phrase "the countdown begins" suggests that this will lead into an even bigger storyline no doubt timed to coincide with the release of Avengers: Infinity War in May 2018.
