You Are Missing Out on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire
Halt and Catch Fire ended its four-season run on AMC this past Sunday. It was not the monumental event the end of other AMC dramas, such as Mad Men or Breaking Bad, was. The show had its devoted fans, many of them the TV critic types who espoused it frequently as "the best show you're not watching."
Those of us who watched it would not argue with that assessment. Halt and Catch Fire found itself dropped into the midst of an ever-expanding TV landscape. The era of "Peak TV" has made it increasingly hard for shows to make a real impact. Halt and Catch Fire never really rose above having a small-but-devoted fan base. However, in an era when dozens of shows inspire, at best, total apathy, that's still a fact worth celebrating.
Stranger Things: Season 2 Clip Reveals Major Eleven Twist
With Stranger Things returning in just a few weeks, a huge Eleven twist has been revealed for the upcoming second season.
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 2...turn back now if you don't want to know!
The Season 2 clip, which you can view here courtesy of MCM Comic Con, shows how Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven escapes the Upside Down. Stuck in this alternate world, Eleven discovers a hole branching from the Upside Down back into the normal world. Using her powers, Eleven more fully opens up the hole between worlds and escapes back into the real world.
Of course, the first season of the show ended with Eleven suddenly disappearing into the Upside Down, with fans left wondering what exactly happened to her or how she might find her way back. The clip, which you can view key moments from in the gallery below, doesn't indicate much about Eleven's time in the Upside Down, but does offer a moment of hope as she can now find her way back to her friends.

Discovery’s Lt. Stamets Reflects on That Ending
Full spoilers follow for the latest episode of Star Trek: Discovery, “Choose Your Pain.”
There was a lot going on in last night’s Star Trek episode, which saw Captain Lorca escaping Klingon captivity, the first appearance of the (new) Harry Mudd in Rainn Wilson, Michael Burnham’s salvation of the tardigrade Ripper, and a bunch of classic Trek captains getting namedropped. There was plenty more to ponder in the segment, “Choose Your Pain,” too, but perhaps most intriguing was the genuine twist that it ended on.

Battlefield 1's third expansion, Turning Tides, will bring four new maps, a new game mode, and more to EA's World War I shooter. All Turning Tides content will be released between December 2017 and January 2018.
The expansion's content focuses on "amphibious" battles, featuring land, sea, and air gameplay, according to its official webpage. The first of the new maps — Cape Helles and Achi Baba — will be released in December, with the remaining two — Heligoland Bight and Zeebrugge — launching in January.
Turning Tides' new game mode, Conquest Assault, is described as a "twist on the signature Conquest mode." Much like Conquest, players will fight to control designated areas on the map. However, unlike Conquest, the defending team will control all areas at the start of each match.
