Atlus Releases Free Sidescrolling Shin Megami Tensei Game

The developer and publisher of the post-apocalyptic role-playing series Shin Megami Tensei, Atlus, has released a free sidescrolling adventure after teasing the .

Atlus announced the game, Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue, on its Japanese blog (via Gematsu) following a trailer last week for the 3DS game Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. That initial trailer called the sidescroller fake, but apparently the game is real — at least for a limited time.

MVC: Infinite Premium Costumes Arrive Tomorrow

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is getting 18 premiere costumes tomorrow.

As detailed by Capcom, characters like Iron Man, Chun-Li, and Dante are getting fresh new looks. Players can purchase these costumes individually for $3.99 each or in three different $11.99 packs that come with six costumes apiece. Check out all of the costumes below:

Costume collections include the Avenging Army pack, which contains costumes for Iron Man, Hawkeye, Arthur, Dante, Thor, and Spencer. The World Warriors pack, which sports new looks for Hulk, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Chris, Chun-Li, and Ryu, and the Mystic Masters pack, which includes costumes for Nemesis, Dormammu, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, Morrigan, and Firebrand.

BioShock 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Unboxing

The BioShock series hit the 10th anniversary mark this year, and 2K Games is honoring the franchise milestone with a return to Rapture's roots in a new collector's edition.

Available on November 14, the BioShock: 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition comes with an 11-inch statue featuring a Big Daddy and Little Sister statue. Check it out in the gallery below or the unboxing video above.

The collector's edition comes with the stature, which features lights, audios, and a rotating Big Daddy drill arm, as well as a copy of BioShock: The Collection. The compilation, which IGN reviewed when it released last year, collects BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, as well as all single-player DLC for all three games. All three games are presented in 1080p with 60 frames-per-second frame rate. A director's commentary video series, "Imagining BioShock," is also included as an unlockable set of videos.

How Killmonger Can Wear the Black Panther Suit

For Black Panther fans, today's new trailer offers a feast of geeky delights. The new footage revealed in the trailer offers a closer glimpse of the film's heroes and villains. And perhaps most intriguing, it features a shot of Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger suiting up in his own version of the Black Panther costume. In keeping with the grand tradition of movies like iron Man and Ant-Man, it looks as though the climax of Black Panther will feature T'Challa going toe-to-toe with a villain who's stolen the very source of his powers.

Witcher Dev: Cyberpunk 2077 ‘Is Progressing as Planned’

CD Projekt Red is still hard at work on Cyberpunk 2077, according to a recent post on Twitter.

"Cyberpunk 2077 is progressing as planned, but we are taking our time" the developer said in a statement, "in this case, silence is the cost of making a great game." CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Marcin Iwinski and Studio Head Adam Badowski made the joint statement.

The post also addressed player concerns that recent departures from the studio might cause the upcoming game to be delayed. "So, does a departure, even a high profile one, mean that the project is in danger?" the developer asks. "One would need to be very courageous to base the future of an AAA role-playing game of such scope on one person (or a few people)."

Funko Unveils James Bond POP! Vinyl Line

Funko has announced a series of toys in its Pop! lineup dedicated to James Bond other iconic characters from the 007 franchise. Soon Bonds fans will be able to get figures featuring many of their favorites, including multiple versions of 007 himself.

Two Bonds will be available wherever Funko toys are sold — one based on Sean Connery Bond from Goldfinger, while the other is Roger Moore's Bond from The Spy Who Loved Me. Check them, and the others available in the line, in the gallery below:

The Golden Girl from Goldfinger will also be available, as well as a host of villains from the franchise — Blofeld with his cat, Oddjob with his killer hat, and Jaws with his, well, jaws. Several store-exclusives will also be made as part of the line, including Octopussy's Bond at Barnes & Noble, Dr. No's version of Bond at Toys 'R Us, and Oddjob in action throwing his hat at Target.

Supergirl’s Lena Luthor Doesn’t Want the Show to Introduce Lex Luthor

Supergirl actress Katie McGrath, who plays Lena Luthor, shared with us over the phone some insights into her character that hails from one of DC’s most iconic families. It seems that being a Luthor is no easy task, especially if you’re trying to clear your name.

Lena is still dealing with the guilt she feels over the events of Season 2’s thrilling conclusion. Being one of the key people responsible for an alien invasion that resulted in your friend (Kara) losing her boyfriend (Mon-El) will undoubtedly keep you up at night.

When asked if she would like to meet her on-screen brother Lex, who we got a glimpse of last season in a flashback as a child, McGrath immediately said, “No! I don’t want any other Luthors around me. Why would I want to share power?”

The news broke and New York Comic-Con that there will be an official crossover between The Walking Dead and spinoff series Fear the Walking Dead. It's always been a tricky concept to embrace as Fear, while airing simultaneously, takes place years before the events that are currently happening on Walking Dead. For a while, back at San Diego Comic-Con, it seemed like the crossover might just be relegated to a bit of Madison's southern backstory and, perhaps, a familial connection to the Daryl and Merle Dixon.
