Destiny 2 Bug Sends Trials of the Nine Offline for 2 Weeks
Destiny 2's most popular competitive multiplayer mode, Trials of the Nine, will be postponed due to a glitch.
In a post on Bungie.net, Bungie said that the next two instances of Trials - held on weekends - will be postponed because of "emote glitching" in The Crucible. The team is currently working on a fix that they plan to deploy at the beginning of November.
In other Destiny 2 news, its first prestige raid is now live and the specs for the Destiny 2 PC version have been revealed. We also have some suggestions on how to make Destiny 2 even better, including expanding the farm, adding north to the mini-map, and adding more depth to public events.
Arrow: How Long Will Diggle’s New Role Last?
Warning: this article contains spoilers for the latest episode of Arrow!
While this week's Arrow shocked fans with confirmation that Bruce Wayne and Gotham City exist in the Arrowverse, that wasn't actually the biggest development in "Tribute." After five years in hell and five more saving his city, Oliver Queen finally seems ready to hang up the hood and pass the Green Arrow mantle to another. Now it falls on John Diggle to keep the legacy going.
LEGO Dimensions Reportedly Ending a Year Early
LEGO Dimensions has reportedly ended a year earlier than planned.
Though Warner Bros. has yet to officially confirm or deny the news, sources close to Eurogamer say that the TT Games-developed series has been cancelled. The publication cites multiple reasons for the cancellation, including the cost of using real LEGO, flagging sales, and the toys-to-life genre falling out of fashion.
If LEGO Dimensions is over, it's ended during its Year Two cycle, which included '80s characters like Beetlejuice, Gizmo, and ET. A third year was planned, and reportedly would have featured fan-favourite villain Lord Vortech, a Minecraft expansion, and The Flash, among other characters. Eurogamer also reports that work was being done on a camera that could scan real life LEGO bricks and see them replicated in game, though it was never green-lit for production.
AMC VR App to Feature Extra Scene from TWD Premiere
AMC is making the jump to virtual reality with its biggest show, The Walking Dead.
Deadline reports the upcoming Season 8 premiere, which is also the 100th episode of the series, will feature an extra scene that can be viewed via AMC's new VR app. Executive producer Greg Nicotero directed the episode, titled "Mercy," and Kevin Cornish is co-directing the 360-degree VR scene, which will focus on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
"With the launch of AMC VR, we are pleased to bring shows like The Walking Dead and Into the Badlands to life in an immersive and experiential way," said AMC and Sundance TV’s EVP of Innovation and Product Development Mac McKean. "Viewers want to enter the worlds they watch on AMC, and this app brings them there."
Nintendo May Be Looking to Extend Switch Video Capture
Nintendo just recently added video capture to Switch, and may already be looking to extend the allotted recording time.
According to Kotaku's sources, Nintendo is planning to extend the recording limit, as the function is currently limited to 30 seconds of video time and only works for select first-party titles that support it.
The company allegedly wants to keep the time restriction in place until all first-party titles support the feature. Nintendo also reportedly wants larger third-party games that use its characters, like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, supported early, and will be actively approaching the studios behind those titles to make it happen.

Visceral Star Wars Game Was ‘Fun and Funny’

Todd Stashwick, who was co-writing the linear, story-focused game with Amy Hennig at Visceral, publicly commented on what could have been following EA's announcement that Visceral would close and its Star Wars game would be refocused.
