Deathstroke Movie Might Have Found Its Director
The Raid filmmaker Gareth Evans may direct a standalone Deathstroke movie.
TheWrap reports Evans is in early talks to write and direct the film, which would star Joe Manganiello as the DC Comics assassin. Warner Bros. and DC executives were reportedly impressed by the director's pitch for the film.
IGN can confirm the talks are early because the project is still in early development.
Deathstroke was originally supposed to appear in Ben Affleck's The Batman film. However, after Affleck stepped down as director and War for the Planet of the Apes filmmaker Matt Reeves took over the project, Reeves reportedly shelved Affleck's script.
GoT Star Says Unaired Pilot ‘Made a Lot of Mistakes’
Jon Snow himself Kit Harington has some shed light on why Game of Thrones' unaired pilot had to be entirely re-shot.
In an interview with The Guardian, Harington said the pilot, which featured several different actors in some of the main roles, had to be scrapped because it did not quite nail the tone and feel of George R. R. Martin's fantasy novels.
"They made a lot of mistakes. It didn’t look right, didn’t feel right, had nothing different about it," Harington said. According to the actor, Jon Snow was clean-shaven at first, and Harington had to wear a wig.

‘Girls Make Games’ Demo Wins Award from Industry Veterans
Four young game designers grades 6-11 are seeking funding for Find Me, a puzzle platformer prototyped at the Girls Make Games summer camp earlier this year.
Five of the 35 games created at this summer's camp were presented at GMG's 4th Annual Demo Day, which was judged by a panel of industry veterans including Shawn Layden of PlayStation, Katie Perez of Xbox, and Tim Schafer of Double Fine.
According to Kickstarter, "the judges were blown away" by Find Me, awarding it both the Grand Prize and Most Original Concept.
How the Spirit of the Fantastic Four Is Coming Back
Not only does the return of Marvel 2-In-One bring back a classic title to Marvel’s lineup, it reunites what remains of Marvel’s First Family, the Fantastic Four. The original concept of the series saw the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing team up with a different Marvel hero each issue, essentially making it a tour of the Marvel Universe and its many weird and wondrous inhabitants. The new version of the book, which is releasing as part of the Marvel Legacy relaunch, will see Thing partnering with his longtime friend and teammate, the Human Torch, as they search for the other half of the team, the missing Richards family.
At the end of Secret Wars, which wrapped in January 2016, Reed and Sue and their children Franklin and Valeria, along with the members of the Future Foundation, set off to work on restoring the multiverse. However, even though we the reader know they’re off doing important work, they are presumed dead by Johnny, Ben and everyone else in the Marvel Universe proper. After returning to Earth, Johnny and Ben parted ways, with Johnny joining the Inhumans and Ben the Guardians of the Galaxy. September’s Marvel Legacy #1 gave us our first check-in with the Richards family since their disappearance, when Valeria and Franklin were seen flying through the cosmos, still on their mission to explore and catalogue the multiverse. Marvel Legacy #1 also showed Johnny and Ben meeting and sending up the Fantasti-Flare to symbolize the return of the Fantastic Four, but for now, it's just the two of them.

Wrestling Wrap Up: SmackDown Ambush Has Us Like “WTF?”
Hey, everyone! Welcome to the Wrap Up. It's going to be a craz...
Oh hey, Sami. Yes, we see you there.
Sami Zayn leaning even harder into ska and dancing even more like a hapless imbecile is just what the heels of SmackDown need right now, by the way.
Speaking of which...who are the heels of the Blue Brand? Is it - I dunno - the ENTIRE BLUE BRAND?
We're a few days removed now from not only Shane McMahon's big "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" invasion of the RAW backstage area, but also the giant PPV-changing shakeup that happened this past weekend regarding TLC and both Roman and Bray being felled by what we'll affectionately call "viral mump-ingitis." It was an outbreak that massively shifted the shape of the card just days beforehand, changing things so that we now have an upcoming feud between Kane and Braun (that allowed Kane to pick up a clean dominant win over Finn on RAW right after Finn triumphed over AJ - smdh!) due to a flat-out "murdering" of Braun at the hands of a garbage truck compactor.
