Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War PvP Mode Coming October
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands' new four versus four PvP update goes live next month.
Ghost War features 4v4 deatmatches with "new PvP mechanics," such as "suppressing fire and sound markers," as well as twelve available player classes to choose from.
The classes fall into three different categories: Assault, Marksman and Support, with each class "fulfilling specific roles on the battlefield" to achieve victory. Strategy and team work is a crucial element to success.
The update is free to players who already own the game, and Ubisoft promises "regular updates with new content" after the expansion launches.
Lead game designer Lucian Istrate said to "expect more classes, more maps, and even new modes" down the road.
History of the Titans Explained
The Teen Titans! They’re a bunch of young adventurers, sidekicks, and other super-powered kids eager to grow up and face a world of danger and excitement with their heads held high. As with so many other super-teams, they’ve been through a number of incarnations and rosters, but the core idea – young heroes dealing with the approach of adulthood while reveling in their abilities and helping the innocent – remains.
And now they're getting a live-action TV show called Titans on DC's new streaming service, DC Universe. So let's take a look at the history of the team!
Teen Titans: The Basics
It all starts with the original Teen Titans back in the 1960s, a team comprised of Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl. Later joined by Speedy, Green Arrow’s sidekick, the “cool” kids team faced sociopolitical issues like the Vietnam war and racial conflict head on. A brief blip in the mid-’70s created a gap in the original team’s series, but when they returned they were joined by the African-American hero Bumblebee and split their efforts with the addition of a West Coast team (you thought the Avengers came up with that?).

Middle-earth: Shadow of War’s Charity DLC Will Now Be Free
The controversial Forthog Orc-Slayer charity DLC for Middle-earth: Shadow of War will now launch free of charge, with the publisher making a single donation itself.
WB Games revealed the news in a blog post on its community announcements page.
The DLC was initially paid-for, with the profits going directly to the family of Michael Forgey, the executive producer on Middle-earth: Shadow of War who sadly lost his battle with cancer in 2016.
Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow and Ygritte Actors To Marry
If you're very behind on Game of Thrones, this article will include spoilers.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie - who played on-off-extremely off couple, Jon Snow and Ygritte in Game of Thrones - have announced that they're engaged to be married.
The couple - who began dating on-set for the show's second season in 2012 - made the announcement through The Times newspaper.
It's a happier ending for the couple than for their show counterparts, whose relationship was tragically cut short by a fatal arrow, and a subsequent funeral pyre. That'll do it.
Harington will return as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones' eighth and final series, while Rose Leslie has most recently starred in The Good Wife spin-off, The Good Fight.
Why A Wrinkle in Time Could Be the Next Great Sci-Fi Film
It’s been months since Disney revealed the first trailer for A Wrinkle in Time at its D23 convention over the summer. But if, like many of us, you were one of the “indoor kids” growing up, then you likely also haven’t stopped obsessing over the upcoming adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s beloved sci-fi/fantasy children’s book. And so far it looks like this could be a worthy take on the classic story.
Though L’Engle initially struggled to find a publisher for her novel, it’s enjoyed enduring popularity since the first edition was released in 1962. Previous attempts to adapt it for the screen have been lackluster at best; when asked by Newsweek in 2003 if a Canadian television adaptation (distributed by Disney) had met her expectations, L’Engle quipped, "Yes, I expected it to be bad, and it is." Thankfully, nearly everything we know about the upcoming film so far promises a thrilling and satisfying end product, even for the discerning book-lovers among us.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will direct Artemis, a film based on an upcoming science fiction novel from The Martian author Andy Weir.
According to Deadline, the directing duo, who were removed from upcoming Han Solo movie, will work with Fox to find a screenwriter to adapt Weir's novel, also titled Artemis, which will be released this November.
Twitter Rolling Out 280-Character Tweets
One of Twitter's unique features is its 140-character limit. When the site was first picking up speed all those years ago, it was sold to tech-heads as a "micro-blogging" platform.
But now Twitter is upping its game. At least, its character limit game. Certain users can now blow up your timeline with massive, 280-character tweets. It all has to do with Twitter wanting people to Tweet more.
In languages like Japanese, more complex thoughts and Tweets can be made without bumping up against the limit. In fact, according to Twitter, only 0.4% of Japanese Twitter users go over the limit composing their tweets. Compare that to the 9% of English speakers who run afoul of the limit.
