We Trained With Goku and Rode a Gundam in VR
With every event I attend or arcade I wander into in Tokyo, I’m reminded that Japan truly does get some of the best stuff. That certainly applies to Bandai Namco’s virtual reality arcade, VR Zone Shinjuku.
It’s a cool, dark space with 14 activities – they’re not all necessarily video games. Using the HTC Vive and a handful of other peripherals, each attraction offers to immerse players in new experiences. The rock climbing wall and terrifyingly high drop onto a slide and into a ball pit omitted the headset. We didn't have much time at VR Zone, though, so my team stuck with the licensed anime experiences. Though these were all in Japanese I did receive English instructions.
Side note: If you happen to have a short skirt or dress, the VR Zone team will kindly provide you with a blanket or longer skirt if you're at an attraction that requires you to sit or squat. VR Zone has excellent service.

Super Meat Boy Dev May Be Working On a Metroidvania
Don’t get too excited, but the developer of Super Meat Boy may be working on some sort of metroidvania game, though it would still be years away.

Why Canceled Fallout 3 Project Was Never Finished
Before making Fallout: New Vegas at Obsidian Entertainment, game director director Josh Sawyer served as the lead designer on the canceled Fallout 3 project that was in development at Black Isle Studios. Speaking to IGN, Sawyer shared a few details about the abandoned game, including why it ultimately never game to fruition.
"It's because the parent company of Black Isle Studios, Interplay, was in a difficult financial situation for a really long time," Sawyer explained on the latest episode of IGN Expert Mode. "We had put off working on Fallout 3 for years, working on various other projects...

The latest iteration of the puzzle series will include 300 puzzles and a local co-op mode.
Picross is a grid-based puzzle game in which players fill in the grid based on numbers along the sides of each grid. Those numbers are clues to how many squares in each row or column need to be filled in, but not which specifically — players must use the numbers given to determine what those squares are.
How Gotham Gets Its Batman Villains Right
Warning: Spoilers for Gotham through Season 3...
How is Batman's famous Rogues' Gallery of supervillains holding up on Gotham without Batman? Pretty well, actually.
Gotham returns to FOX on (new night) Thursday, September 21st for a Season 4 premiere, "Pax Penguina," that finds fear-mongering Batman villain Scarecrow (Charlie Tahan) making his in-costume debut in the midst of the city's most peaceful, crime-free era ever.
Of course, we've already met young Jonathan Crane on the show, back in Season 1 during a two-episode arc focused on his father, Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands) - a story that left Jonathan incapacitated and mentally tormented by his dad's own fear toxin. So how will Gotham's full version of Scarecrow hold up to his comic book counterpart? Or even other representations of Crane from films like Batman Begins or games like Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight? One thing we do know is that Gotham has been at its best, since the very beginning, when spotlighting the city's crooked and cracked evil-doers.
