Star Wars Actor on American Made’s Rogue CIA Agent

Domhnall Gleeson plays a career-minded, rogue CIA agent "Schafer" in the new true crime flick American Made, opening Friday, starring Tom Cruise and directed by Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow). During a recent phone chat with IGN, the actor hailed both Cruise and Liman as thrill-seekers in the spirit of American Made's subject, Barry Seal, a high-flying pilot who smuggled drugs and guns in the 1980s for the Medellín Cartel and CIA, respectively.

Cruise, a pilot, and Liman ventured out into the jungle on location in South America, flying there on their own and camping out in the wild. "I went up in the plane with the pair of them a couple times. And they also flew that plane over my head when we were, during that scene where the people are flying like ten feet over my head. That was me standing in there. So I got to see some of the kind of madness up close, and it was really exhilarating," Gleeson said.

Joker-Harley Quinn Romance Must ‘End in Flames’

Harley Quinn actor Margot Robbie has revealed how she'd like to see her on-screen romance with Jared Leto's The Joker ultimately end.

"Their love story has to end in flames!" Robbie told Bang Showbiz (via Batman News). "It has to — it just wouldn't be right

."

Leto and Robbie made their DCEU debuts as Joker and Harley Quinn, respectively, in last year's Suicide Squad. Their tumultuous romance is expected to be explored even further in a recently announced standalone movie. Warner Bros. is said to be in "final negotiations" with Glenn Ficarra and John Requa to direct the Harley Quinn-Joker film, which will reportedly be released after Suicide Squad 2.

NYCC is always a great showcase of awesome TV shows, exciting video games, epic movies and the best of the best in comics -- and 2017 is shaping up to be no different.

IGN previewed the best movies to come from NYCC 2017, and today we’re taking a look at the biggest games set to be showcased at the convention. Sony Doesn’t Plan to Make a Switch Competitor

Sony Interactive Entertainment president, Andrew House sees the handheld market as "limited" in the age of the smartphone, and has all but dismissed a successor to the PlayStation Vita to compete with Nintendo Switch.

Speaking to Bloomberg, House explained that "we have not seen

as being a huge market opportunity."

“The Vita experience was that outside of Japan and Asia, there was not a huge demand,” House continued. “The lifestyle shift toward the dominance of smartphones as the single key device that is always with you, was the determining factor.”

Wolfenstein 2’s Talking is Better Than Its Robot-Dog Riding

Before I started playing Wolfenstein 2, I was told I would get to pilot a giant, mechanical, fire-breathing dog. As you might expect, that’s pretty much the main part I was looking forward to as I shot Nazis and charged through crumbling walls. But what I didn’t expect is that the sequel’s cutscenes would blow me away more than melting my enemies.

Picking up the top-notch storytelling and character development of the first game, the cutscenes I saw from Wolfenstein 2 were even more impressive. The way each scene was filmed and cut together made them feel more like clips from some new Netflix show than mere exposition in a videogame.

Jeepers Creepers 3: An Interview with the Creeper

With Jeepers Creepers 3 just one day away from its somewhat surprising theatrical release, I chatted with Jonathan Breck, the actor who plays the monster known as the Creeper in all three films.

He talked about not just what made the first film such a hit but also dropped a few hints about where the franchise might be headed in the future.

IGN: One of the biggest draws of this franchise is the unique, original monster, The Creeper. Part of that is it has a great look and design. For me though, one thing that sets it apart is the way it moves. A quick flick of the wrist and out pops an ax from behind its back, or the way it flips its coat like a matador and stalks back and forth. Even though he has this brutish presence, there’s a grace to it. What influenced you in coming up with the way the Creeper moves?
