Mario Odyssey Is The First Mario Game Rated Higher Than E
Granted, at an E10+ it's not as though we'll hear Mario chuckin' cusses, but Super Mario Odyssey is the first mainline Mario game to receive higher than an 'Everyone' rating from the ESRB.
As spotted by GoNintendo, Mario's next outing now has a listed rating - however, the ESRB hasn't yet published its detailed rundown of reasons for the game's rating, so we don't know what's going to freak out the under-10s.
While some Mario spin-offs have reached higher, every Mario platformer until now has been an E.
According the ESRB's ratings guide, an E10+ is likely to contain "more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes" than your garden variety E.
Three New Xbox One Controller Designs Revealed
Microsoft has revealed three new designs for Xbox One controllers as well as a new wireless adapter for Windows 10.
The most basic of the three controllers features a grey overall design with green highlights poking through the base of the thumbsticks. This Green/Grey wireless controller is also slightly cheaper than the others on offer and can be pre-ordered to ship on August 3 for $64.99 USD.
The Volcano Shadow Special Edition controller is the latest in the shadow series which debuted last year and sports the classic black fade only this time into a metallic red. This will set you back a little more than the Green/Grey pre-ordering at $69.99 and will also begin shipping on August 3.

Dragon Quest XI Sells 2 Million Copies In Two Days In Japan
During its first two days of release in Japan, the next iteration of the popular JRPG series Dragon Quest XI sold over 2 million copies.
Kotaku reports (via Famitsu) that the Square Enix title - which released in Japan last Saturday - has sold a total of 2,080,806 copies across the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS platforms.
The 3DS picked up over half of the sales with 1,130,468 copies sold at retail while 950,338 copies were sold for the PS4 which is still no small number. More impressively is that digital sales have not been taken into account for these totals, and the Switch version of the game hasn't yet been released.
