Hearthstone Knights of the Frozen Throne Release Date Announced
Hearthstone's next expansion Knights of the Frozen Throne will be released on August 10, Blizzard announced today.
The expansion has players claim the Lich King's Frozen Throne by traveling to Northend and attacking the Icecrown Citadel.
It introduces 135 new cards to the game and nine legendary Hero Cards that, after being played, transform the game's heroes into Death Knights. A new power called Lifesteal will also be featured, which heals players for the amount of damage they've dealt.
Knights of the Frozen Throne also brings with it eight free missions which allow players to explore the Icecrown Citadel and engage in various boss battles, including a showdown with the Lich King himself.
Niko and the Sword of Light: SpongeBob Actor Talks New Series
Although Tom Kenny describes himself as a journeyman actor, he’s had considerable success doing voice work in Rocko's Modern Life, Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, CatDog, Spyro the Dragon, and as his signature character, SpongeBob Squarepants. Now, Kenny has another animated series to add to his resume: Niko and the Sword of Light.
Niko and the Sword of Light recently made its official debut on Amazon two years after the pilot episode was released. It’s based on the motion comic of the same name, and follows the 10-year-old title character as he awakens in a strange post-apocalyptic world with a mission to defeat the darkness that has overtaken the land. Kenny plays Mandok, one of Niko’s closest companions.
Aladdin Live-Action Movie Casts Its Jafar
Disney's live-action Aladdin remake may have found its villain.
Variety reports Marwan Kenzari, who recently appeared in this year's The Mummy reboot, is in final talks to play the villainous Jafar. The role was previously voiced by Jonathan Freeman in the 1992 animated classic.

Kenzari can be seen next in Murder on the Orient Express, playing train conductor Pierre Michel.
Kenzari joins a cast that includes Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Will Smith as Genie. Filming is set to begin this month, however no release date for the live-action remake has been set yet.
Game of Thrones: Which Houses of Westeros Are Still Standing?
We're only three episodes into Game of Thrones' seventh season, and so much has already happened that we need to step back and look at who the players are at this point in the story (and why's even left alive). The war for Westeros is underway and entire Houses are dropping likes flies.
Spoilers, obviously, continue below.
Daenerys' conquest is off to a disastrous start, Melisandre is on her way to Volantis (not to appear again in Season 7, by the way), Littlefinger may find himself undone because of something he did way back in Season 1, and the Lannisters are poisoning foes left and right. This show is no stranger to rampant murder, but as we head into the final endgame the herd's going to thin like never before.
Spotify Reportedly Coming to Xbox One
It looks like you might be listening to your Spotify library on your Xbox One before long.
A screenshot of Microsoft's Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) reportedly testing a Spotify app for Xbox One surfaced earlier on Reddit this week. According to The Verge, a Spotify app is indeed in the works and coming to the Xbox One soon.
When reached for comment, a representative for Microsoft said "We’re always working on a number of new experiences for Xbox One owners, many times with great music playing in the background, but have nothing to announce today."

Bungie Outlines Destiny 2’s Streaming Restrictions on PC
In an effort to keep the playing field level for Destiny 2 on PC, support for third-party streaming and game capture applications will be limited.
Bungie outlined the restrictions in a post on its official site, noting the Game Capture mode of programs like XSplit and OBS are not supported. However, you'll be able to use the Screen Capture and Window Capture modes in OBS and XSplit while playing in Windowed Mode.
Other game capture programs, like Razer Cortex, Fraps and Dxtory have similar limitations.
Those who wish to capture footage of Destiny 2 while playing in Exclusive Fullscreen can use a dedicated streaming PC, as well as capture hardware like Elgato and AVerMedia. Bungie also notes that both AMD ReLive and NVIDIA Shadowplay are supported.
John Boyega on Making Detroit
I chatted with John Boyega on the phone this week to discuss his new film Detroit (read IGN's review), his return as Finn in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and starring in the sequel to Pacific Rim.
Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, Detroit is a docudrama chronicling the 1967 riots that swept that city, with a particularly brutal emphasis on what transpired at the Algiers Motel when three white cops terrorized a group of black men and two white women. Boyega plays a real-life figure, Melvin Dismukes, a security guard who becomes involved in the terrifying events at the Algiers.

Game of Thrones New Episode Leaks
Sunday’s upcoming fourth episode of Game of Thrones, “Spoils of War,” has apparently leaked this morning. The source of the leak, according to The Verge, is HBO’s distribution partner, Star India, whose watermark appears on the leaked version of the episode. In a statement to The Verge, Star India confirms it was the source of the leak, saying, “This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action.”
The leak appears to be unrelated to the recent HBO hack. During that “cyber incident” programming data and scripts appear to have been stolen, and HBO has cautioned viewers about spoilers appearing online. The hackers specifically threatened to release more information about the network’s shows, including Game of Thrones, Ballers, and Room 104.
