Details on Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon’s Dusk Form Lycanroc

Update: New details on Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's new Lycanroc form have been revealed.

According to a post on the official Pokemon website, Dusk Form Lycanroc is similar to the Midday Form in that both stand on four legs and have an obedient demeanor. However, it also has a few things in common with the Midnight Form, including a matching mane on its head, as well as eyes that turn red when attacking.

While Dusk Form Lycanroc generally has a calm demeanor, it thrives in close quarters combat and can use Counter, a move learned by Midnight Form Lycanroc when it evolves from Rockruff. However, like its Midday Form, this new form can also learn Accelerock. Additionally, Dusk Form Lycanroc has the Tough Claws ability, which boosts the power of direct contact moves.

The Dark Tower Bumps Dunkirk to Top Weekend Box Office

Despite performing a bit below expectations, The Dark Tower debuted in first place at the box office, earning an estimated $19.5 million in its opening weekend.

While the Nikolaj Arcel-directed film did well enough to end Dunkirk's two-week run as box office leader, and had the second-highest opening for a Stephen King movie (second only to 1408's $20.6 million opening haul), The Dark Tower had the lowest first place opening of 2017 thus far. Including reshoots, the film reportedly cost $65 million to produce.

Voltron: Legendary Defender – Spoiler Discussion

This is full-spoiler discussion page for Netflix's third season of Voltron: Legendary Defender, for those who've watched all seven episodes of the season. For my overall, non-spoilery thoughts, read my full Voltron Season 3 review.

Voltron: Legendary Defender made some pretty significant changes to the status quo with this new season, all of which served to make the series even more engaging. None of these changes benefited the show more than the temporary absence of team leader/Black Lion pilot Shiro. Not that I disliked Shiro by any means in the previous seasons, but he seemed to serve more purpose as a lingering shadow over the rest of the team than an active player in the plot. His disappearance served as a catalyst for Keith's character arc this season, forcing Keith to embrace the responsibilities of team leader and learn to make hard decisions in the heat of battle.

Director Says Guardians 3’s Adam Warlock Is a “Baby”

Be advised of some minor spoilers ahead for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

I chatted with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn this week about his plans for Adam Warlock, the cosmic comic book character slated to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. (The filmmaker set-up the character in an end credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.)

Initially, Gunn had tried to include Adam Warlock in his treatment for Vol. 2, but said he eventually dropped the character for creative reasons. "It was in the original draft -- in the original treatment, before it even became a screenplay -- Adam Warlock was a major character," Gunn explained. "And the screenplay was just too busy, there were too many characters. And I couldn't do Nebula justice and Adam Warlock justice and have them both in there so I decided to save Adam for another day."

Why Twin Peaks Is Gwendoline Christie’s Favorite TV Show

Gwendoline Christie might be a part of two of the biggest franchises on the planet -- Star Wars and Game of Thrones -- but that doesn't stop her from geeking out about the properties she has always been a huge fan of. Case in point: Twin Peaks.

It turns out Christie has been obsessed with Twin Peaks since she was 11, so when she had a chance to meet the cast (including her favorite, Kyle MacLachlan) at San Diego Comic-Con, she was positively shook. Just take a look at this outtake from our interview with her, which she interrupted to geek out about her big Twin Peaks meeting:

When I caught up with Christie a week later at the 2017 summer TV Critics' Association press tour, she was still glowing from the inetraction. "I thought I was going to pass out when I met Kyle MacLachlan," she laughed during a tangent while promoting her role in Top of the Lake: China Girl. "I was talking to some other members of the cast when I became aware of this presence that moved toward me like the most graceful, silent, powerful, radiating energy monolith, and I said, 'Oh. Oh. Oh, hello.' I just lost all anything."

IT Is One of Stephen King’s Best Movies

It's pretty rare to find a Stephen King story that hasn't been adapted to film or TV at this point. That's even more true now that two of King's defining works, The Dark Tower and It, have made their way to the big screen within weeks of each other. And while The Dark Tower wasn't quite the rousing fantasy epic fans were hoping, Stephen King's IT has already made a huge splash.

To celebrate these new releases, we've updated our ranking of the best movies based on Stephen King stories. Did IT make the cut? Check out our slideshow to find out.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that The Dark Tower will be taking its place alongside the greats. Check out our Dark Tower review to find out why it "abandons the nuance and gravity of its source material and all too often lacks any trace of a beating heart." That doesn't seem to be slowing progress on the Dark Tower spinoff TV series, which recently gained a showrunner in The Walking Dead's Glen Mazzara.
