Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul PSVR Release Date

Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul will arrive August 15 on PlayStation VR.

Already available on Steam Early Access, the Paranormal Activity VR game is based on the movie franchise's mythology. That said, The Lost Soul doesn't focus on any particular installment.

The VR game places players in an average home set in the woods, and unsurprisingly, there's something scary lurking there.

Developer VRWERX is promising support for Paranormal Activity: The Last Soul after release, saying updates are in the works for the horror game.

For more on Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul, check out how scary the IGN staff thought the game was.

The Last Tycoon: Season 1 Spoiler Discussion

This is full-spoiler discussion page for Amazon's The Last Tycoon, for those who've watched all nine episodes of the series. For my overall, non-spoilery thoughts, read my full The Last Tyccon review.

So this series took a pretty dark turn towards the end, didn't it? There were certainly some darker moments earlier in the series, but it wasn't until the final stretch where the show's Golden Age Hollywood veneer fell away and The Last Tycoon became full-on Great Gatsby-style tragedy.

The common thread among all the main characters is that they all achieved the professional success they were seeking but at the expense of their personal happiness. Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer) got his Oscar, but completely torpedoed his relationship with Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer) and his daughter Cecelia (Lilly Collins) in the process. For his part, Monroe was able to keep his magnum opus alive by putting it in the hands of another studio, but his romance with Kathleen Moore (Dominique McElligott) turned out to be a giant sham. Even smaller characters like Max Miner (Mark O'Brien) suffered a great deal in the end. Max managed to crawl his way up from poverty to a key position in the Brady American Pictures hierarchy but found himself helping his new boss cover up a murder and blackmail Stahr. With the exception of Cecelia, it doesn't really seem like anyone ended the season in a better state than they started it.

American Gods: Starz Boss Says ‘There’s No End in Sight’

Starz is still all in on Bryan Fuller and Michael Green's adaptation of American Gods, even though there is no set plan for when Season 2 will hit our TV screens.

Starz president Chris Albrecht spoke to reporters at the 2017 summer TV Critics' Association press tour about the future of the Neil Gaiman adaptation, and was confident about its long term future at the network.

"We are certainly on board for as long as the show makes sense for Starz, and there's no end in sight," he said.

However, with Gaiman and Green still breaking story on Season 2, Albrecht said there still is no target release date. "We're actively pursuing making sure that we can get it as soon as possible," he said.

Hayley Atwell Would Love a Peggy Carter Marvel Movie

Given the fact that the MCU's Peggy Carter lived a long life and had many untold adventures as one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- only some of which have been documented in movies and on TV -- and given the fact that it was announced that Captain Marvel will take place in the '90s, fans have been speculating about all the different ways Peggy could come back to the MCU.

I spoke to star Hayley Atwell, at the Television Critics Association press tour where she appeared for her Howards End miniseries on Starz, and asked her whether or not she'd love to return to the MCU.

New Details on Star Trek: Discovery Shake-Up

New details about Star Trek: Discovery have been revealed, shedding light on why Bryan Fuller left the series.

According to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (via Trek Core), Fuller pitched to CBS the idea of having "multiple serialized anthology shows." Metal Gear Solid 5 Gets Its First Update in a Year

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain just received its first update of the year, which brings a number of new features to the game's FOB missions, including a new playable character.

According to Konami's announcement, Revolver Ocelot, Snake's longtime friend/enemy/rival, is now playable in the game's Forward Operating Base missions. You cannot customize his appearance like other soldiers, but he does have a number of combat advantages, such as heightened camouflage and faster reload speed. He can even ricochet bullets off of marked enemies.

In addition to Ocelot, this update includes two new swimsuits for your Diamond Dog army. These swimsuits, named the "Goblin Suit" and "Megalodon Suit" offer no camouflage, but increase your soldier's movement speed. These suits are not unlocked by default and must be developed before they become available.
