WWE 2K18 Now Coming to Nintendo Switch

Update: 2K has released new details about the Switch version of the game - including that it will release alongside PS4 and Xbox One versions on October 17.

It's unclear if the Switch version will get a deluxe version that allows for early access, however.

2K also confirmed that the upgrades being made to the already-announced versions - alterations to the MyCareer mode, added customisation options and more - are included. The press release also implies that the new rendering engine is being used in the Switch version.

Original story: WWE 2K18 will now be released on Nintendo Switch, as well as PS4 and Xbox One.

Announced in a video by cover star Seth Rollins, this will be the first WWE game on a Nintendo console since WWE '13 on Wii.

Next DC Animated Film Will Seemingly Be Gotham By Gaslight

Following Batman and Harley Quinn, the next DC animated film appears to be a retelling of Gotham by Gaslight, the story that sees Batman transplanted into the 18th Century.

An image on Reddit appears to show the back cover of the Batman and Harley Quinn Blu-ray, which lists "A Sneak Peak at DC Universe's Next Animated Movie: Batman: Gotham by Gaslight" as a special feature:

Gotham by Gaslight was originally a much-loved DC Elseworlds story, featuring Bruce Wayne (alongside several familiar faces) becoming Batman in 1889, and investigating whether Jack the Ripper has come to Gotham.

Spider-Man PS4’s Open World ‘Several Times Larger’ Than Sunset Overdrive

The New York you'll be swinging through in the upcoming PS4 Spider-Man game will be a big one - "several times larger" than Insomniac's last open world, Sunset City (the setting for Sunset Overdrive).

The developer made the comparison on Twitter, after a fan asked them to compare it to the size of The Witcher 3:

Sunset Overdrive wasn't small, either - the company said the Xbox One exclusive was "the biggest game we've ever made".

Newsrama reports the prequel, titled Harley Quinn and Batman, is a five-part digital-first series from Batman writer Ty Templeton and artist Rick Burnett. The duo previously worked on The Batman Adventures, the comic book series tie-in to Batman: The Animated Series.

The prequel will follow Harley Quinn, before she eventually teams up with Batman in the movie, trying to become a proper supervillain herself rather than being Joker's sidekick.
