Orphan Black: Final Season Sneak Peek
The final season of Orphan Black is debuting soon and we've got an exclusive clip from Season 5 - once more showing off the formidable talent of both Tatiana Maslany and the show's special effect team when it comes to creating the clones at the center of the series.
In the following scene, Sarah (Maslany) and Mika (also Maslany) need to make a very quick switch up and pose as one another, as part of Sarah's quest to get back her daughter, Kira. Take note of the fact that the scene is all done in one shot, swiftly panning around the room -- and the two Maslanys -- in a fascinating technical feat.
Orphan Black: Season 5 debuts June 10th on BBC America.

If you come from the console era, this is a chance to get a look at the competitive fighting scene of it's time, as players pack the arcade to play Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom and other games.

Netflix Cancels Sense8
After two seasons, Netflix's Sense8 has been cancelled by the streaming service.
Netflix confirmed the cancellation in a statement from Cindy Holland, Netflix's VP of original content. Her statement reads:
“After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end. It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable. Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment."
Studio Ghibli Theme Park Coming in 2020
Studio Ghibli, behind classic animated movies like Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, is creating a theme park in Japan.
Variety reports Studio Ghibli is teaming up with Nagoya’s Aichi Prefecture for the park, which will be based on the film My Neighbor Totoro. The space is set to open in 2020.
The 200-hectare site for the park was previously home to the 2005 World's Fair, according to Kotaku. At that time, Satsuki and Mei's house from My Neighbor Totoro was re-created, so that's already there.
Killer Instinct Dev Announces Action Game Extinction
Killer Instinct developer Iron Galaxy and publisher Maximum Games have announced Extinction, a "fast-paced action game" coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Due out in Q1 2018, Extinction puts players in the role of Avil, a soldier known as a Sentinel, who is trained to defend against the Ravenii, an army of 150-foot-tall ogres and other monsters.
The game features a campaign, custom online battles that allow for players to create battlegrounds and objectives while challenging players for high scores, and a wave-based survival mode called Extinction. The announcement was accompanied by the cinematic trailer above.
Extinction's game director, Kraig Kujawa, said players can expect "fast, fluid" and "absolutely relentless" gameplay. Derek Neal, executive producer at Maximum Games, added, "...each player’s experience will be varied, as the landscapes and battle situations are never identical."
Splatoon’s Official Chat Headset Is Cool, Complicated
Peripheral maker Hori has introduced the first solution to Nintendo Switch chat by way of an official Splatoon 2 headset.
Splatoon 2, like any good team-based shooter, requires careful collaboration between squadmates to ensure victory. Much like getting your teammates to coperate with one another, there's a bit of work involved when it comes to the headset.
Japanese site Ninten-Switch has photos of the new headset, along with its cool but complex squid splitter. Switch chat is supported by a smartphone app, not part of the Switch itself, so there are three connections involved: the headphones to the splitter, the splitter to a smartphone, and another lead to the Switch itself.
Life Is Strange Prequel Reportedly Leaked
A Life Is Strange prequel is reportedly in the works, as eight supposed screenshots and a piece of concept art from the rumored unannounced game have leaked online.
The leaked images (seen in this Imgur gallery) indicate the prequel will focus on Life Is Strange's Chloe Price and her best friend Rachel Amber, who is missing at the start of the original game. According to French website Gamekult (via NeoGAF), the prequel is being developed in addition to Dontnod's recently announced followup to the episodic teenage drama.

But we do know its specs, and we know that it's part of the Xbox One family -- not a generational successor. That means every Xbox One game will work on Scorpio.

The project will be an original title for consoles and PC, according to the announcement. No further details were revealed at this time, though Square Enix noted the game won't be part of the company's E3 2017 lineup. But for more on what is at the convention this year, check out IGN's list of E3 2017 games.
