Patty Jenkins Not Yet Signed on to Direct Wonder Woman 2

Contrary to previous reports, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has not signed on to direct a sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenkins only had a one-picture deal since this was her first time directing a big-budget studio film, which is a standard practice at Warner Bros. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has an option lined up for a sequel as part of her contract to star in multiple DC movies.

Negotiations between Jenkins and Warner Bros. are reportedly scheduled to begin in the near future, with Jenkins having more leverage due to Wonder Woman's critical and box office success.
