A Visual History of Wonder Woman’s Costumes
Wonder Woman is one of the most iconic heroes in comics, and it doesn't hurt that she also has one of the most distinctive superhero costumes. But even so, her look has evolved quite a bit over the years as she's made the jump from comics to TV to film and her general role within the DCU has evolved.
With Gal Gadot's Diana Prince taking the spotlight in the new Wonder Woman movie, we thought it would be fun to break down the evolution of Wonder Woman's costume, ranging from her Golden Age debut to her most recent adventures. Click right on the gallery below to see for yourself.
It's shaping up to be a very good year for Wonder Woman. Early buzz indicates that the new movie is the best of the DC Extended Universe to date, and we'll see Gal Gadot's WW in action again in November's Justice League
PlayStation 3 Has Ceased Production
Production of the PlayStation 3 has seemingly ended in Japan.
Gematsu reports the official PlayStation website page for the 500GB version, the only model currently that was in production in Japan, lists shipments now as “Ended.” We have contacted Sony for official comment.
The PlayStation 3 originally released in Japan on November 11, 2006, and in North America on November 17 (PAL territories saw the system launch on March 23, 2007). The launch also saw Sony playing catch up to Microsoft’s Xbox 360, which released a year prior on November 22, 2005.
Despite releasing later than anticipated, the PlayStation 3 went on to sell through some 80 million units worldwide as of 2013. Comparatively, as of April 2017 the PlayStation 4 has sold in excess of 60 million units.

Nintendo Theme Park Will Probably Include Real-Life Mario Kart
Nintendo has all but confirmed that its US theme parks will have the same name as their Japanese counterpart - Super Nintendo World.
Filing a US trademark for the name (as spotted by ComicBook.com) we may also have a sense of one of its attractions - the filing includes specific mention of the "management or arrangement of kart racing". Can anyone think of a suitable Nintendo franchise for that? I'm struggling.
As with all trademarks, some of the list will be there simply to cover Nintendo from others using the name for their own gain, but there are mentions of Super Nintendo World hotels, restaurants, Christmas tree decorations and a whole heap of different kinds of clothes.
I Am Setsuna Devs Reveal New RPG, Lost Sphear
Tokyo RPG Factory, the development studio behind I Am Setsuna, has announced its next game, Lost Sphear for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Steam.
The game starts in a remote town where a young boy by the name of Kanata wakes from a dream to find his town disappearing. It’s then up to Kanata and his friends to rebuild the world around them, by converting thoughts into matter.
Building on the framework laid down by I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear will introduce an expanded gameplay system with a re-worked active time battle (ATB) system. We’re informed players can strategize and adjust their placement mid-fight.
Lost Sphear is scheduled for release in early 2018. If you’re already after a physical copy, you’ll need to pre-order exclusively on the Square Enix website. Pre-orderers nab themselves two extra music tracks at launch.
Bayonetta 3 Is In Discussions, Says PlatinumGames
Platinum Games is actively discussing where to take the Bayonetta series next.
In an interview with SourceGaming at BitSummit, Platinum producer Atsushi Inaba fielded a question regarding whether the team would still use Bayonetta as the protagonist or introduce someone new in a bid to surprise fans and keep the series fresh.
“I would like to make Bayonetta 3. We’re talking within the company even now about what to do,” says Inaba. “But because we’re constantly talking about it, that actually makes it really hard to say.
“Of course, that’s just something that you talk about when you’re making a series – do you want to keep the same protagonist? There’s plenty of precedent for changing protagonists, and so that is something we discuss – do we want to keep the same one, have a different one, add new ones…”
Shenmue 3 Won’t Be at E3
Shenmue III will not be at this year’s E3.
Writing via the Shenmue III Kickstarter, developer Ys Net explained the month of June will be spent focusing on development, meaning the team won’t be able to make any upcoming events.
“We have also been receiving questions from our backers regarding our plans to participate in upcoming game shows,” says Ys Net. “While our schedule has yet to be finalized, we will be devoting June to game development and as a result, will unfortunately not be participating in any game shows.”
Ys Net goes on to explain the company will continue the tradition of bringing monthly updates via the Kickstarter campaign.

FFVII Remake Development Shifts to ‘Internal Setup’
Development on Final Fantasy VII Remake is changing to an "internal setup" at Square Enix.
As reported by FF-Reunion (and translated by Gematsu), during a recent Mobius Final Fantasy live stream, Naoki Hamaguchi, the project lead on Final Fantasy VII Remake, revealed Square Enix has shifted its focus away from working with an external studio on the game. CyberConnect2 was previously helping Square Enix with development.
