Animaniacs Reboot Reportedly in Development
An Animaniacs reboot is reportedly in the works.
IndieWire reports Warner Bros. Animation and Amblin Television are developing a new version of the beloved 90s cartoon after its recent surge in popularity on Netflix. Steven Spielberg, who developed the original, is expected to work on the reboot. The series is still said to be early in development and doesn't have a network attached yet.
Warner Bros. declined to comment about the reported reboot.
Animaniacs ran for a total of 99 episodes and originally aired on Fox Kids from 1993 to 1995, before moving to Kids' WB from 1995 to 1998. The series won eight Daytime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award, and spawned a spinoff in Pinky and the Brain.

Blizzard Might Be Teasing Overwatch’s Next Hero and Map
A genetically modified gorilla (or monkey) like Winston might be Overwatch's next hero.
Blizzard has posted a new Overwatch blog entry describing some of the events that took place on Horizon Lunar Colony, the home of Winston. Notably, it's revealed that Winston isn't the only specimen missing from the base. So is someone or something called Hammond.

Alien: Covenant Concept Art Revealed
With Alien: Covenant now in theaters, Ridley Scott has once again given fans of the xenomorph-filled franchise lots to talk about. Love it or hate it, the prequel to Alien/sequel to Prometheus has further established the origin of the classic alien of the title.
And now Titan Books has released
by Simon Ward, a look at the film that's full of "sketches, blueprints, diagrams, full-color artwork, final film frames and behind-the-scenes shots from the set," according to Titan. Aquaman Movie Takes Place After Justice League
Aquaman will take place after the events of Justice League.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, executive producer Charles Roven confirmed the solo film will contain story elements tied to the superhero team-up movie. "There will be some reference of something that preceded Aquaman that will be in Aquaman," Roven said. "I believe that is the intention."

Pokemon Gold and Silver Soundtrack Getting Deluxe Vinyl
Johto Legends, a one-hour orchestral arrangement featuring the music of Pokemon Gold and Silver, is coming to vinyl.
The album, from Materia Collective and composer/arranger Braxton Burks, will be available as a 2xLP vinyl for $40 USD, courtesy of iam8bit. This deluxe set features album art by Ryan Brinkerhoff, as well a premium foil-stamped jacket and foil inner sleeves. A digital download is included as well.
Pre-orders for the Johto Legends vinyl open tomorrow, May 31 at 8am PT/11am ET on iam8bit.com. The set will release in the first quarter of 2018.
The music of Johto Legends—based on Junichi Masuda, Go Ichinose and Morikazu Aoki's original score—is performed by a number of talented musicians, whose performance credits include The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses and Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions.
Arrow: What to Expect From Season 6
Arrow's Season 5 finale might just be its best episode ever, a fact that certainly isn't making the wait for Season 6 any easier. The CW recently revealed its schedule for the fall 2017 season, and fans will now have to wait an extra night to get their weekly Arrow fix. Riverdale will be taking over Arrow's old Wednesday 8pm EST/PST slot, with Arrow shifting to 9pm EST/PST on Thursdays (after Supernatural).
Batman and Harley Quinn Animated Film Release Info
The release date and cover art for Warner Bros.' upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie have been revealed.
The film arrives August 15 on Digital HD ($19.99 HD, $14.99 SD) and August 29 on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack ($44.98), Blu-ray Deluxe Giftset ($39.99), Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98) and DVD ($19.98). The Blu-ray Deluxe Giftset will include an exclusive Harley Quinn figurine. Check out the box art and a couple Blu-ray images from the movie below.
