PlayStation Store Now Has Steam-Like Curated Playlists
Sony has launched a new recommendation system on the PlayStation store.
Dubbed The Creators, (via Kotaku) the new feature is similar to Steam's curator recommendations in that it displays recommended games, only in this version the suggestions come from developers rather than influencers.
As of now, the lineup includes 17 prominent developers and studios such as the President of Sony's Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida and the Final Fantasy 15 team.
Many of the picks are obvious choices, such as games made by the person or team in question or just generally popular titles. However, lots of the choices do appear genuine with Rocket League Developer, Psyonix expressing their love of obscure sports titles and Yoshida praising the amazing Sound Shapes.
New Pokemon Go Anti-Cheat System Makes Rare Pokemon Impossible to Find
Like any game, Pokemon Go has hackers, whether they're using bots or other ways to gain an advantage quickly. But Niantic is now cracking down harder on them.
According to Pokemon Go Hub, a server-side security measure was activated over the weekend which now means previously flagged accounts are no longer able to see rare Pokemon spawns in an area.
Anyone caught using third party trackers to catch Pokemon will now be unable to catch the very best.
An image shared on the Pokemon Go Dev Discord server shows two screenshots of the game at the same time and location from two accounts, one normal, and one flagged. The normal account can see a Geodude, Kabuto, and Venonat nearby, while the flagged account can only see the Geodude.
Tom Cruise Says Top Gun 2 ‘Is Definitely Happening’
Tom Cruise feels the need for a Top Gun sequel, and he says it's "definitely happening."
While promoting The Mummy, Cruise confirmed Top Gun 2 is on the way with the Australian morning show Sunrise, according to The Guardian. "I’m going to start filming it probably in the next year," he said.
"I know. It’s happening. It is definitely happening ... you’re the first people that I’ve said this to."
There's been talk about Top Gun 2 for years. Back in 2014, producer Jerry Bruckheimer said the sequel would revolve around drone usage. And producer David Ellison built off that idea in 2015, mentioning that Top Gun 2 would explore "the end of an era of dogfighting."
New Spidey Poster Includes Iron Man, Vulture
Sony Pictures has released a new domestic poster for their upcoming Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. And this artwork features many more characters than just the ol' web-slinger.
As you can see in the new poster below, this one-sheet includes Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark (and his alter ego, Iron Man), Michael Keaton's Vulture, Marisa Tonei's Aunt May Parker, and Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan, as well as Zendaya and Logan Marshall Green's mystery characters.
Spider-Man: Homecoming International Poster Revealed
Sony has released the international poster for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The poster features Spidey (Tom Holland) front and centre, flanked by Iron-Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and The Vulture (Michael Keaton). The Avengers Tower can be seen in the background.
Sony has dropped the poster simultaneously with both international and domestic trailers for its upcoming flick, which lands in theatres July 7 in the USA, July 6 in Australia, and July 5 in the UK. For more on Spider-Man: Homecoming, here are 17 things we learned on the set.

The Flash's Season 3 finale ended with what could wind up being the show's most status quo-altering twist yet, as Barry Allen retreated into the Speed Force to pay his penance for creating the Flashpoint timeline and Savitar. The rest of Team Flash will have to carry on in his absence in Season 4. Depending how far the writers are willing to take this new development, we could be looking at a fourth season driven not by Grant Gustin's Barry Allen, but by Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West.
Justice League Dark Movie Loses Director Doug Liman
Dark Universe, Warner Bros.' upcoming Justice League Dark film adaptation, has reportedly lost its director.
According to Variety's sources, Doug Liman has left the project over scheduling issues. The studio has reportedly begun its search for a replacement, already meeting with other directors with the intent to have a new director on board soon. In fact, Deadline has heard IT director Andy Muschietti is in the running to helm the project.
Liman is attached to helm Chaos Walking, Lionsgate's upcoming film adaptation of the first book in a trilogy of young adult novels by Patrick Ness. Prior to joining Chaos Walking, Liman was set to helm Gambit, which he decided to leave because he couldn't find a personal connection to the project.
First Mario/Rabbids Crossover RPG Art Reportedly Leaks
A new promotional image for the rumored Mario/Rabbids crossover RPG coming to Nintendo Switch has reportedly leaked, seeming to reinforce previously leaked details about the supposed title.
Comic Book's WWG has debuted what it says is reportedly key art for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, an RPG rumored to be made in partnership between Ubisoft and Nintendo. Check out the art below:

AT&T CEO Ponders 20-Minute Game of Thrones Episodes
AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson, whose company is in the process of purchasing Time Warner, has suggested that it might make sense to cut down episodes of Game of Thrones to a shorter length to make them more palatable in a "mobile environment."
“I’ll cause
Plepler to panic,” Stephenson said at the J.P. Morgan’s Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference according to Variety. "Think about things like Game of Thrones. In a mobile environment, a 60-minute episode might not be the best experience. Maybe you want a 20-minute episode.”
Dark Phoenix Producer: Nothing Is “Out of Bounds”
Producer Hutch Parker is feeling pretty good about things right now, riding high on the success of the final Hugh Jackman Wolverine movie, Logan. With the acclaimed film now hitting Blu-ray, Parker joined Jackman and director James Mangold for a special screening of the black and white version of the film -- dubbed Logan Noir -- at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn last week for something of a victory lap.
But he’s also looking forward to the X-Men’s future, including the next “core” film in the franchise, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which will pick up where X-Men: Apocalypse left off and (obviously) take a new tact with the classic Phoenix storyline which was previously adapted in the third film.
