Spider-Man Star Has Never Seen Original Star Wars Trilogy

Spider-Man star Tom Holland revealed in an interview promoting his new film The Lost City of Z that he's not really much of a Star Wars fan and hasn't seen the original 1977 trilogy.

Holland has a memorable quote in Captain America: Civil War, where the web-slinger asks his fellow heroes whether they've seen “that really old movie The Empire Strikes Back." When Yahoo asked the actor about this reference, he conceded, “I haven’t seen The Empire Strikes Back, I’m not gonna lie,” and admitted to not having seen any of the original films.

Gorillaz To Get A 10-Episode TV Show

With Gorillaz's new album Humanz releasing on April 28, the band is now getting a 10-episode TV show.

In an interview with Q Magazine (via Pitchfork), Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett shared that he's currently working on an animated TV show about all four of the band's cartoon members – 2D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel – and their alter egos. However, Hewlett didn't reveal much else about the series.

Leaked Star Wars Battlefront 2 Trailer Teases Single-Player, New Heroes

A leaked trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II, which was intended to be showcased at Star Wars Celebration 2017 on April 15, has revealed a brief glimpse of the much-anticipated shooter.

At the time of publishing the trailer can be viewed on Vimeo.

The trailer begins with the partially rebuilt Death Star exploding at the end of Return of the Jedi before cutting to the shocked face of an unknown soldier and the text “The untold soldier’s story.”

Following this the trailer unsurprisingly highlights that Battlefront II will allow players to “fight multiplayer battles across all eras” and shows footage of Darth Maul about to engage with Yoda, plus a brief snippet of Rey and Kylo Ren.

Creative Team for Batman and Harley Quinn Revealed

We now know the creative team that will be bringing you the DC animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn this summer.

Iconic animator Bruce Timm will be joining forces with Sam Liu on the movie, according to a report by Collider. We've independently verified the report's accuracy.

This won’t be Liu’s first time helming one of these DC animated pictures. He’s already served as the director of such movies as Batman: The Killing Joke and Justice League vs. Teen Titans.

In addition to serving as an executive producer on the film, the story for the movie comes from Timm and co-writer Jim Krieg.

The Fast and the Furious: The Most Ridiculous Car Chases

It’s been 16 years since the first Fast and the Furious movie and in that time we’ve all watched as this series evolved from somewhat respectable street racing movie into one of the most popular, melodramatic and over the top action franchises in motion picture history.

But even though the Fast and Furious movies claim that they’re all about family - and they claim it over and over and over again, don’t they? - we all know they’re really here to wow us with incredible and implausible car chases, stunts, and action sequences.

Now that we’ve seen The Fate of the Furious, (minor spoilers below) it’s time to take a look at all the times that this franchise has gone beyond the suspension of disbelief and into the realm of absolute madness… just the way we like it.

Superman Returning for Supergirl Season 2 Finale

Superman is returning to Supergirl for the Season 2 finale.

E! News reports Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as the Man of Steel in the last Season 2 episode, though story details for the finale and Superman's role in the episode have yet to be revealed.

Superman/Clark Kent made his debut on Supergirl in the Season 2 premiere "The Adventures of Supergirl," where he came to National City to help Supergirl/Kara (Melissa Benoist) deal with a malfunctioning LexCorp spacecraft.
