Deadpool 2 Preview Playing Before Logan

Deadpool is attached to Logan after all, though not as a cameo or post-credits sequence. Instead, IGN can confirm that a short teaser plays before screenings of the new Wolverine film, and we have details about what it contains.

Spoilers for the Deadpool 2 teaser continue after the jump.

Shot by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, the footage serves as a preview for what fans can expect from the next installment in the Ryan Reynolds superhero saga. The scene begins with dirty streets, garbage flying about, and darkly lit, grim vibe of a man walking down a street with a hoodie/hood pulled up. This almost plays off like a trick to make audiences think Logan has begun, until the man pulls back his hood and Wade Wilson is revealed, complete with his deformed face.

Suda51 Reveals Fire Pro Wrestling Series Will Return

Spike Chunsoft has announced the long-running Fire Pro Wrestling series will return this year with Fire Pro Wrestling World.

Goichi Suda, aka Suda51, made the announcement and showed his support for the new entry via a quick video where he speaks about how the Fire Pro Wrestling series gave him his first start in the video game industry.

However, Suda51 won't be involved in the development of Fire Pro Wrestling World, saying instead he'll be "rooting for Fire Pro from the sidelines."

The new game in the series is coming to PlayStation 4 and will arrive for PC on Steam Early Access sometime in the second quarter of 2017. Fire Pro Wrestling World will retain the same customization and grappling-focused fighting system the series is known for, and will offer the ability to "customize every aspect of the match, from your wrestler to the ring itself."

Destiny 2: Bungie Details What Character Progress Will and Won’t Carry Over to Sequel

In a look at what's to come for Destiny, Bungie has revealed the first details about "Destiny's first full sequel," including what progression from the original game players will be able to carry over.

A new blog post on Bungie.net reveals that power, possessions, and Eververse-related items and currency from the first Destiny will not carry over to the sequel (they will still be available in the original Destiny, though). However, Bungie will "preserve" character customization from the first game for any players who have reached a certain point in Destiny 1.

"Specifically, the class, race, gender, face, hair, and marking selections for all characters that have achieved Level 20 and completed the Black Garden story mission will carry forward," the post reads. "We also plan to award those veteran accounts with honors that reflect your Destiny 1 accomplishments."

Why Obi-Wan Should Get His Own Movie

Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi. The Myth. The Legend. When we first met the character in Star Wars: A New Hope, he was the crazy old wizard who lived on Tatooine and watched over Luke Skywalker. He was grizzled and, like most things on the desert planet, he was covered in a fine layer of dust. His robes looked well-worn and raggedy, his small dwelling was sparse -- he led a seemingly simple life, from a certain point of view.

No canonical Star Wars stories cover the whole of Obi-Wan's time on the planet furthest from the bright center of the universe. Star Wars Rebels is going to give us a peek soon, but overall, we don't know if Ben spent his days whittling bantha figures (no, I don't know where he'd get the wood for such a hobby) or tussling with Tusken Raiders. He spent 19 years playing guardian angel/Jedi to the little Skywalker. It's not insignificant. That period of his life is just one aspect suited for turning into a standalone film.

IGN UK Podcast #373: The Goodest Week We’ve Ever Had

There's so much good in this week's podcast that we had to call the server nerds at IGN and tell them to chuck on more bandwidth logs.
