Nintendo Addresses Joy-Con Sync Issues
Nintendo has released a troubleshooting guide for people experiencing problems with their Joy-Cons.
The official Nintendo support page is aimed at Switch owners whose Joy-Cons are "not responding" or "responding incorrectly."
Many reviewers testing out the Switch before launch complained of problems with the left Joy-Con dropping out during game play. We had the same problem and noted it in our Nintendo Switch review, having it happen "relatively often" during play.
Among the steps are making sure the Switch has the latest system update, but also checking for other sources of interference like wireless headsets or even microwave ovens. Also, don't put it near an aquarium. That's a suggestion.
Nintendo Switch Amazon Preorders Suffer Widespread Delays
Despite Amazon's preorders for Nintendo Switch offering a day-one delivery, a number of Amazon users, including some IGN staff, have still not received their consoles or seen their systems even ship. Some have also reported that their ship date has been moved.
Multiple IGN staffers have Amazon orders that still say Switch systems will arrive today, however the progress is stalled at "shipping soon" with no tracking or shipment information available. Several IGN staff members have also had their orders from Amazon fulfilled.

Future X-Men Films to Move Beyond Xavier/Magneto
While the complex relationship between Professor Xavier and Magneto has been a core component of the X-Men movies, the franchise will move beyond that dynamic in future installments.
"We cannot, once again, explore the Erik/Charles dynamic," X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner told Vanity Fair. She said that while the shift is "both liberating and makes me nervous," for her "it's mostly liberating."
Shuler Donner went on to note that while Professor X and Magneto are "always essential" to the X-Men universe, "there are other stories to tell."

Mary Poppins Returns takes place 25 years after the first film and is set during the 1930s depression-era London, which happens to be the time period of P.L. Travers' original novels. The story follows the now-grown children Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Emily Mortimer) who've experienced a personal loss. With the help from her lamplighter friend Jack ( Lin-Manuel Miranda), Mary Poppins returns to help the Banks family with her magic once again.
Halo 5 Motion Sensor Could Be Getting Altered
343 Industries is exploring the possibility of altering the Motion Sensor in Halo 5: Guardians and will run a public test next week to gather feedback from the community.
According to the latest Halo Community Update, the public test will begin on March 9 and run for "at least a month." During that time, 343 will "gather player feedback and metrics" too see if the new Motion Sensor "has a potential place in Halo 5 going forward as well as potential learnings and implications for future Halo FPS titles."
Halo 5's Motion Sensor has proven to be a point of contention within the competitive community, as some want it removed entirely, while others believe its a crucial part of the experience. In an effort to appeal to both sides, 343 has created a revised Motion Sensor. This new sensor's range has been increased from 18m to 25m and will only show player activity if someone is firing a non-silenced weapon or using a Spartan ability.
Game of Thrones: Davos Actor Reveals Season 7 Premiere
It looks like season 7 of Game of Thrones might not premiere until July.
One of the show's stars, Sir Davos Seaworth actor Liam Cunningham, supposedly revealed the premiere date for the HBO series while speaking to The Independent, saying the show was supposed to come back in April like it usually does, but it's since been delayed.
“I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April," Cunningham said. "It’s July now, I think. There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September.”
